I have a Mosin 91/30 that I have only fire 8-10 rounds thru. Last night some friends of my daughter came home from college with her and we shot about 100 rnds thru the Mosin. I had one strange shell after picking up all the brass this morning. I am wondering if anyone else has seen this shooting Russian surplus ammo. To my understanding they are not designed for target practice. They are designed for quick responses. Draw. Place red dot. Squeeze. Every one I have ever read about says +-3inches at 30 feet. My iron sights are more accurate than that. JTM Sent from my iPhone

Several friends and family members already have a list of skills and people that fill those skills. Mechanic, fabricator/machinists, gardner, canner, medic, gunsmith, ect. We actually have 3 relocation spots across the country. Rural west tn(owned), about 100 acres in western MI(owned and resided on), 600 acres in sw Texas(owned), 100 acres in Montana. Welcome to TGO. And thank you for your service. When dealing with customer service reps, I usually never deal with the person that answers the phone. When calling, explain the problem if the person answering the phone can't fix the problem ask to speak to his/her supervisor. If they are not available then ask who is available above their head. The guy answering the phone is usually some guy who gets paid to answer the phone and has no real power. I wish all customer service was as good as what I try to provide but unfortunately it is not. I would call back during regular business hours and ask to speak with the boss. If he can't make it right then complain to everyone you know and on the www. It is a powerful tool. Rimires I wipe down outside and clean when get misfires everything else wipe down an clean once a year. If shooting corrosive primers I run a patch of clp down the bore after shooting. That is basically the Mosins. JTM Sent from my iPhone
