Ramsey speaking on Parking Lot Bill again
jtmaze replied to Worriedman's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Wow. Would you like for me to post the email correspondence he and I had last session with him. Is he up for reelection. JTM Sent from my iPhone -
I hope they charge the employee with wreckless endangerment. JTM Sent from my iPhone

On your own property inTN no. Off of your property a small game and fishing license about $25. Not sure in MS,AR. Gray and fox squirrels are fun with 22lr. You just have to time your shot and wait for them to come around the tree. Also good to eat for a tree rat. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I am just starting as well. I just got my bench set up today and sized and decapped about 250 cases. I haven't bought powder yet and was going to get on here to ask for recommendations for a good all around pistol powder. Starting with .380 and going to also reload .40 and 45. Kenton. Wow. I bet you know.... Well never mind I wouldn't want to ruin your reputation by throwing that name out. I live in SW TN now but lived in Milan for years. A friend of mine is from Kenton we will call him JLo I bet you know him. Don't hold it against me. JTM Sent from my iPhone

How bout a fire rated cooking set that is self contained(each one fits inside the other for storage. Last I looked(acouple of years ago) they weren't outrageous and could be picked up at any store that carried camping equipment. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I don't weld but have a friend with a fab shop that handles that for me. Shouldn't be too difficult. Grind both edges down to leave a trough and fill trough with weld on both sides, grind excess and there you are. JTM Sent from my iPhone
Well sort of you just have to notify them within 48 hours of picking it up, I also believe that you can simply notify the sheriffs dept instead of TWRA if you like.
Yeah. My daughter hit one on 11-1 and I called the sheriffs dept and they sent me to THP due to location and they said a call and report was all that was required and they would report to TWRA. I am curious about the tools confiscation. I had to throw away a pair of mini channel locks away in BNA one time that flew here in my carryon bag. I was living in Austin Tx at the time. I don't mind throwing something away as bad as someone taking it home with them. The pliers were a slip on my part but they should not get to keep. JTM Sent from my iPhone
I have a good friend who politically seems on the fence about people carrying he sees the pros still shes a lot of cons. His wife thinks that anybody that carries is "trying to be a cowboy." Her brother and sister in law carry and do so irresponsibly. The SIL was recently in a drive thru where she got irritated at the car in front of her so she got out of her vehicle walked up to the vehicle in front of her and announced "I have a gun and a permit to use it, get out of my way!" Morons! I hate that fence sitters are exposed to idiots like this and think that we are all that way. I did explain to my friend that that is not the intention of a carry permit and that a responsible permit holder is only going to reveal that they have a gun if their life is truly in danger. He does acknowledge that his inlaws are pretty stupid.
She could actually be arrested for aggravated assualt just for that statement. Probably should be to get the permit outta her hands and gun.

"PRIVATE" security Rambo at Wallmart kills a shoplifter.
I'd like to see the employees and wannabe cop involved fired and prosecuted. Then hopefully the family of the victim sues and is awarded millions. Too much of this "power trip" crap going on in todays LE (legit or not).
That goes along with using military tactics to train police. It teaches an us vs. them mentality which does not work in police that are good cops doing there jobs. -
Scared myself........Now I use what I have.
jtmaze replied to personDJ's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
That is exactly right. Dogs are pack animals and when they feel threatened they want to be with their pack/your family. Don't take wining as a sign of weakness, most dogs wining want something. If you are a good dog owner your dog will follow your lead and protect you. JTM Sent from my iPhone -
I think the group is better trained than the people of woodberry. Do you remember the scene where Andrea and the young girl(good with a bow) were on the wall and the girl missed twice before Andrea says this is how it's done. Another Michone takes out two guys armed "to the teeth" with a sword. Defending against walkers is one thing, a well planned sneak attack??? Makes you wonder. I am sure two or three guys are decent but the whole group in Woodberry? Have you noticed the governor has not squared off with anyone but Maggie. Intimidation is his thing, but can he walk the walk. Rick is no pu$$y by any means. Darryl either. These guys are battle hardened for there time. It will be fun to watch play out. JTM Sent from my iPhone

I love the 119 as well. I have the black handle one. I really like the wood handle on that one. My grand dad had the wood handle on his. Enjoy a great hunting knife. -
All of these guys are right. Reading is the key. Learn all you can before you start. Check with your shooting buddies for used equipment too. When I told a couple of my friends that I was gonna start reloading they offered all kinds of equipment up for trade. I wound up trading an old blackberry cell phone I didn't use anymore for a single stage RCBS press and powder dispenser w/stand. Not all I need are dies. I have gotten everything but dies and have spent less than $100. That doesn't include powder, primers, and bullets.

The only thing I can say is don't take "you can't" for an answer. I am sure we don't know all the details. My best friend's dad growing up broke his neck in a car wreck in 1978 and was told he would never walk again but I have never seen the man in a wheel chair. The whole left side of his body has no feeling, but through sheer determination he overcame his paralysis and owns a fab shop and C&C Full Auto. Keep your head up and don't take no for an answer. Go with God. JTM Sent from my iPhone
