I have been in the market for a small .38 for some time now for pocket carry and have had no luck at all under $350. It really sucks. I don't want to spend a lot because the only time I would carry is when wearing a suite with no belt, which is about twice a year. There is a article written by an Atlanta medical examiner on this site somewhere that describes the 12ga shotgun as the most devastating round for self defense. I have a real sense of closure for the mother. Tie the shooter up to a chair and let her walk around him and repeatedly shoot him. She can start at the feet and choose targets of opportunity. Congrats. Girls are great when dating starts. Always invite guys over to shoot before an UN-chaperoned date then put up 6 clay pigeons at 30 feet and let them see how hard they are to hit. Then take your turn at the same targets, and shoot 3 strong handed and 3 off handed as fast as you can accurately do it. The look on there face is priceless. My daughters are 18&20. My wife and kids got me a new Vibratory Tumbler for Christmas and I finally got it set up. I tumbled 450 rounds of .40 s&w this w/e and was thrilled. Yes my wife tends to go overboard on things like this. And that was 450 rounds in one session of tumbling. I am so happy. I didn't think to take pics but will next time I am out in shop.

As stated above this keeps no one from getting fired. I work for a major retailer that owns all of their stores and they have a no weapons policy(not even a personal knife), Thhey will Provide you with a company aproved box knife if you need one. I have a pocket knife everyday and know several upper managers that keep guns in POV while at work. Company policy says NO, but enforcement is don't ask don't tell. And you could already have a gun in vehicle when picking up children from school, but it will allow teachers to keep a weapon in vehicle.
