My prepping buddy who knows her is one to say if you aren't asking enough for something. I think .50 on the 1.00 is fair just wasn't sure.

I really doubt that she does. She Probably has some idea of all the money her late husband spent over a lifetime but not current values.

i have an elderly woman whose husband died last year. She had a private auction and got rid of alot of his reloading equipment. The widow is giving me and a friend of mine a chance to buy everything else. My question is what is considered reasonable offering. This lady is not selling this stuff for the money, she clearly stated that she wants it to go to someone that will use it and carry on her husbands love for the shooting sports. My wife is not working right now so money is a little tight and I want to get a good deal but not insult her as well. Thanks for your opinions. This is some pricey stuff...Progressive loaders, dies brass...I don't have a complete list yet. Goign to look at tomorrow to make an offer.

I have been in retail/wholesale over 25 years. I have had more people threaten to whip my a$$ more than most people have seen the word typed. I will tell you one thing for sure, if you call me with a problem(your fault or mine), I will do everything short of lose my job to make you happy if you are respectful. If you call me cussing and acting a fool, I will only do the bare minimum that the company policy says I have to do to comply and cover my a$$. Has anyone learned anything from this little story.

Dixie Gunworks and several other places to go see up in Union City as well. There is also a big Air Show in Halls, TN should be coming up pretty soon. I am sure some of the guys on here already know the date. This State is really rich in day trip things to do that you could turn into a w/e if you string a couple together.

I have 40 miles one way with 2 small rivers to cross. KISS. Does everyone here know what that means. The Obion river you can walk across, chest deep in most places, but trying to swim the Forked Deer River with a 40 lb pack ain't going to happen. Keep it light and easy to carry. I made the mistake of taking out the largest poisonous animal I have ever seen around my house this way. Had the muzzle out the window but not the action. Years ago, a friend of mine was the service manager at Liberty Jeep in downtown Memphis and in those areas late at night a lot working late. The police told him to slow down and check traffic at the lights then go. It is hard to jack a moving car. Another friend in Jackson had his tire slashed at a red light in downtown jackson with a snub nose .38 in the console. He grabbed the gun and shoved the gun in the guy's face so hard that he had to clean up the blood up from door panel. Drove off on flat tire. JTM Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
