I agree with this 100%. When I was with the SPCA we worked closely with several Drug task forces to take control of dogs when warrants were served. We had the equipment to handle the dogs and they didn't. If they knew there was a dog on the property they would have us hidden around the corner to get dogs as soon as area was secured. On another note. If you come in my house unannounced, the odds are more likely you get dog bitten than shot. The dogs are faster than I am. I have 2 pit bulls than have full run of my house and yard at all times. They are not aggressive but if you invade their home, it's on you.

Mine was always a youth model 20ga single shot I got for my 11th B-day. I have only had to use it twice for this both times squirrel hunting and almost stepped on a copperhead. I promise it was him or me cause I almost stroked out both times and I am not scared of snakes. A wise man about reptiles named Robert Allen(Allen reptile Co, Memphis TN) taught me one important thing as a kid. Non venomous snakes are territorial and will keep the nasty ones out if there is only so much food. The non-venomous snakes will fight for their pond where the venomous will simply move on. My rule is kill the poisonous, and leave the non and eventually your pond will be snake free.

As far as beer and steak are concerned I feel the same way. A guy at work from out of town asked where to get a good steak around here and I said my house.

I used to smoke about 2 Arturo Fuente's a week. I would usually go to local shop in Austin TX and pick a variety of mild and medium and keep in a pocket humidor. Since moving back to TN have pretty much given it up due to lack of selection.
