1. This is how I exercise. I walk about 10-12 miles a day at work(this has probably saved my life.) Split wood with a maul. makes for great times in the spring and fall in the back yard. Manual Labor is great exercise and you are getting something done. Sell the firewood if you live where you can't burn. This is excellent advise.
 2. Like I said in another thread. Happened to me once on my range with an xd40. Hand on grip. Sure grip safety was depressed but luckily I felt the tension and cleared before ND. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......
 3. I have been type 1 diabetic over 30 years. I have nerve damage in several toes in each foot. If you are currently retired ask your Dr about Lyrica. I took it for a while and almost immediately started getting feeling back in my feet and toes( mostly in the form of pain.) This is a drug that you have to work up to full dose and I never got that far due to drowsiness side effects affecting my job. Nerve damage is permanent but not untreatable. Some can be reversed. Don't give up because some doc says its permanent. Get the best when it comes to this. And low and behold I will probably be right there with you some day. 4. Did it not say he was a ccp holder? I guess that is the lefts mentality. Good for me not for you. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......
 5. Dolomite is 100% right. There are no bad dogs just bad owners. I am glad someone found the owners. I already texted the wife about looking thur SPCA contacts in the area.
 6. I had one in the late 90s to mow a small putting green I set up in yard and only lasted summer. Good luck. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

 8.
Where do you see that? I believe that means it is put on hold until a way to pay for it is found. I'm not sure what in this bill would need to be paid for.
Nothing. Stall tactic. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

 11. This may be the end of 80%lowers and ak47 blanks. I am not sure on how the law reads on this but they maybe getting what the gubment wants. Attention dawn to the 80% lower market, or the build your own untraceable gun crowd. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......
 12. Has anyone here ever read the book by W.E.B. Griffin "By Order Of The President." It is a fictional story about an African airliner stolen by terrorists for use later. Good read. Check it out. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......
 13. The one I posted about earlier was an XD. I don't recall if I had the grip safety depressed or not. I do know the drawn strings on shirts with plastic spring tensioners can get caught in a trigger guard. Has happened to me. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......
 14. I have heard of the draw strings on pull over fleece outer wear getting caught in trigger guards and causing problems. My FIL cuts them all off his shirts. I just make sure all holsters cover the trigger guard. I have had mine get tangled when reholstering in the backyard/range. But no ND. The reason I say this is because if I hadn't been paying attention it could have happened to me. Gun are never to be taken for granted. PERIOD. No matter how old or safe. Shit happens. 16. Keep your truck and get a mini van and small trailer. That is what my dad does. He has 2 caravans and a 5x8 trailer. Rides better. Better for trips. If you need to haul something larger the trailer is more versital. . JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

 18.

I've run shorts, long rifles, subsonics, even gallery caps through my henry, not once have I had a hiccup. I've also dealt with Henry customer service (regarding an AR-7) and they are top notch.

JTMaze, you're on the wrong end of the state for me, I'd be happy to let you run mine through its' paces.

It seems that way all the time. I have a late 70s model 94 Win. And it is my favorite gun. I can't afford to shoot it like 22. That is why I want one of the inexpensive Henry's. I am glad you spoke up. I guess I am waiting for the 22 craze to get better, I have a hard enough time feeding my other 22s right now. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......

 22. I know guys. Ak's under $300 and sks $100. That was the good ole days. JTM We the People of the United States, in order to form a more Perfect Union......
 23. I thought a good price for 7.62x39 was about .10 a round. That is what I paid for the last surplus I bought in the late 80s early 90s. I might need to get some more 7.62 x54r tho. I am down to about 2000 rnds. And I still shoot this. Now they want what I was paying for a case 2.5 years ago for a can now. Rediculous.
