  1. I had Springfield polish my ramp and ream my chamber for hollows but mine is from 2009. They have worked everything out now I believe! Yes, the stock Cocobolo grips are very nice.
  2. .45 or 9mm 1911?? LOL
  3. You can practice all day everyday HOLEPUNCHER. Its a 9mm not a .45 in 3" which can "beat ya up" a little. Also the 9mm is very cheap compared to other calibers. I have had both and the EMP with some good ammo LE Hydra Shock Tacticals, Hornady TAP or Critical, Winchester Ranger Talon, or my FAVORITE RBCD Fragmenting Ultra High Velocity rounds. 2110 ft per second with massive damage and $39.00 for a box of 20 LOL. The EMP and the ammo just works. If you want reliability and something that can "look cool" +1 EMP. Mine has custom Esmeralda hand engraved Iron Cross grips which are nice! Also Kahr PM9's are great! A little pricey but a sweet pocket 9mm. Keltec PF9 "New Models" CHEAP GUN but it works EVERY TIME which is all that matters!!
  4. Yes I have a EMP the most trustworthy gun I have ever owned. I have literally had almost all of them. Fit and finish is amazing. I would have Springfield over Kimber since they invented the first true short action 1911. Extremely accurate, no recoil, extremely light weight. The dehorning treatment is amazing on your skin too LOL I put on some custom engraved grips on mine and it's great! Both guns are very similar but I have always trusted the Springfield for all my 1911's.
  5. FN Five Seven!!
  6. Ummmm.....Can you say SWEET!
  7. Stag parts are always awesome!!
  8. This bad boy LCR shoots great for it's intended use, up close. Mine has the XS sight which is always awesome! That Hi Viz looks kool!

I got a 45C for sale! Great pistol..
  12. Nighthawk custom 1911 full size with scarecrow grips
  13. Winchester ranger talons le are excellent rounds with massive destruction. The hst le are equally as good as talons in ballistic test. I use both never had a fail and they all mushroom very nice. The walmart pdx1 are junk to me, many times they don't mushroom and u get a fmj round. I have used both hst and talon, not black talon, in all calibers. The talons made today are the same as previous black talons without lubalox Teflon coating. That coating junks up a feed ramp quick.
  14. 984
  15. Rem Oil for cleaning, smith and wesson dry lube for polymer frame pistol rails Glock, s&w, etc. and Keelube for everything else, friction points on all pistols.
  16. Nice!! I love my Stag flat top.
  17. There is more of a chance for me to get crap in there than dirt building up. I know alot of departments that use them. It's a Glock, not gonna break!
  18. Looks very nice! Have fun keeping it clean!
  19. Looks good!! Should serve you well....very well!
  20. Beltman horsehide 1.5 inch leather gun belt and a good leather holster. Galco, Kramer, DeSantis, etc. Saddleback leather for a AWESOME wallet.
  21. ZERO TOLERANCE 0350 Everyone here knows the deal with these GREAT knives! $90 bucks, razor sharp, built like a tank, and is super light! I just received this today and it will be getting carried every day. I literally cannot feel this knife clipped in my pocket, maybe because of those ultra thin G-10 grips. I think the assisted open works great and is fairly quick. I am sure there are a lot more experienced folks here regarding knives but I felt this was a good reasonable choice for a knife that will hopefully last a long time. BTW I have a GERBER Gator made back in '95 that is still like new and works great, now this is before GERBER went to China! PS This knife was designed by Ken Onion, and oddly my name is Ken too....??
  22. Thanks! The 23 is nice as well, I like a good .40! What is nice is my 19 is literally like new, which is always nice since a lot of people trash their glocks.
  23. They are nice! For some plastic lol
