  1. Sounds naughty LMAO. I believe the shop was called Leather Master but I went blind right after walking in the store from the sausage posters on the walls so I can't say for sure
  2. I have only had one interaction with LEO while carrying. Another TGO member and I were doing an AR deal in Crossville. I parked in a secluded spot off 40 but my trunk was to McD's. I was showing the buying my AR in the trunk and had to pull it out to show the rest if it. After about 5 minutes six officers greeted us after they got a call on an assault weapon deal going down in the general store parking lot LMAO. Told then officer I had my HCP and DL in my wallet and I was armed he had me hand him my credentials. He turned around to go to his squad car then turned back to me and I asked him if he wanted to secure my weapon for his peace of mind. He disarmed me after the Serpa defeated him at first LMAO and put my loaded gun on the hood of his car, not my AR. The buyer had to inform him she had a weapon too and he did the same for her. It was funny the officers showed up with ARs as well and flak jackets. I had 11 mags loaded with 500 additional rounds of green tip in the trunk. Buyer had a defender shotgun in the trunk and a 1911. The officer when he arrived in scene informed the other officers I had armor piercing ammo. +1 for me! Overall the guys were nice and we talked for about 30 minutes and they even asked to buy my Eotech and if we wanted them to hang out while we finished up. Be careful in Crossville LMAO.
  3. Cant be a doctor of nurse if CONVICTED of a felony and she will have to get her record of arrest expunged if she is found not guilty or takes a plea deal and gets unsupervised probation under a misdemeanor and only if they are willing to drop charges after said probation period. Either way she is in deep caca that will take years to clear up if she can.
  4. The one and only time I had a LEO interaction in Crossville while doing a TGO trade LMAO, the officer removed my weapon and didn't even uncharge it which is funny that a civilian would ask me to do it. Long story short, I dont unload for no one. G&L let me unload and reload in the store when I was picking up another holster. D&T asked me to step outside to reload. I guess some people are paranoid.
  5. I was actually asked to unload my firearm once I stepped out of my car and went into my trunk. The lady there, I think the owners wife came to the door and asked me to unload my weapon, she saw it on my side. Another buddy of mine went there and he unloaded his weapon outside for a holster fitting and once he got the holster he tried to charge his weapon inside the store and they stopped him which I think is ridiculous. The owner told my buddy he uncharges his weapon at home pointed at a bucket of sand which is hilarious. Keep your finger off the trigger people!
  6. I have had nothing but horrible experiences at Outpost. Went there once looking for a holster after a gun show out that way and their selection was non existent and the service was also non existent. I usually buy my stuff online but decided to go local. Second time I went there was looking for some AR goodies and again the service was lousy even after I tried making small talk at the counter. When I buy local, I go to D&T or G&L no matter the location. Excellent guys at both stores and they always want to help out! I am actually getting ready to give D&T my transfer business or if G&L can make it worthwhile I will buy my next pistol from them but it's hard to beat online prices. Either way stay away from Outpost. I went into Lebanon Gun Shop once and I did not like being asked to unload my weapon before entering the store which is why I won't go back along with high prices much like Outpost.
  7. Thanks everyone for the advice! Looks like im buying online and probably going to D&T. I have purchased from them before and I was very pleased. Hard to beat a $10 transfer fee!
  8. Yeah I have a place in town that will charge me the standard $25 transfer but essentially I can get the gun about 150 bucks cheaper including transfer and shipping by going online. I was just trying to see why I wouldn't do this lol
  9. I am looking at buying a new pistol online. I have never done this before and I know about the transfer fee and shipping to my dealer. Do I have to pay tax at the dealer when I go to pick it up? Also do most local dealers , Guns and Leather, work to compete with a price of the same gun they have in stock if it's within reason say $50. Just looking for some input and I am buying from Cheaper than Dirt. I have never had issues before on parts.
  10. Key West is a cool place. I have been there four times so far. Check out the aquarium and the little shops. Stay away from leather stores cause they are likely to be bondage hang outs. Made the mistake at looking fit a new wallet and walked into a place where a guy had another guy on a leash wearing leather LMAO
  11. Can't beat TGO. I have always had 100% quality pieces and interactions! As for the price I have never paid for a website before but this one is well worth it! TBH without this site, I wouldn't have the guns and acquaintances I have today.
  12. Just go buy a dang Sig or Glock. Taurus was the only manufacturer that I had a 38 special revolver break as well LMAO.
  13. Lol I could have sold ya a great one!
  14. I had this happen to me alot with my TRP. I found it was some cheap ACT mags with cracked feedlips which caused the first chambered round to setback and hang up and sometimes not go into battery. I switched to Wilson Combat mags and the issue disappeared. Try some new mags!
  15. The firearm will state if it can handle +p loads. I use +p only for defensive purposes. It will not harm steel frame guns but alloy guns should only be shot with +p occasionally when testing or carrying to prevent frame cracks which can happen if a steady diet of +p is given. +p will produce more recoil but increases velocity in 9 and .45. .40 and .357 sig is already +p by default.
  16. When your kids get old enough show them the movie Silent Night Deadly Night! No more Santa. I snuck and watched it at 5 and I turned out ok....or did i? I do carry a gun now! Hummm
  17. OMG what a douche. I can't believe he kept his finger on the trigger the whole time even if the Glock was not in ready to fire position. With his IQ he will chamber a round and exercise his right to be a moron. Secondly, if u want a badge go loose weight and become a cop! LMAO FYI im overweight!
  18. This is horrible! Men like this help keep us safe and this is what they get in return. It's unfortunate the perp was only wounded IMHO!!
