  1. Check the SBR thread on here. Cant win over there lol. What it comes down to is some guys don't wanna admit the AK47 is like a 1911 as far as heritage but I think the AK is more dependable on that scale. It's an old design that just works. I am not hung up on buying only American. I want quality and dependability no matter if it's American, Russian, or Nigerian Alot of guys out there are just stuck on AR's and that's fine but the world doesn't use AK's because everyone is third world or because of mass production, I wish people would just admit its a Commie rifle which pretty much always works. End of rant. And yes I own an AR as well. Oh and I carry a Austrian designed Glock 23 because it just works. There we go, the AR is like a 1911 and the AK is the the Glock. HaHa I'm gonna get it for that!!
  2. That's awesome and I know they do. Funny thing is mine is 7.62x39 and it's accuracy is amazing! And people say AK's aren't accurate.
  3. I wasnt being literal on that number, but there have been many reports where guys have went down because of that fine sand in their weapons which would be unacceptable. Stateside unless your in the desert, the AR should work fine.
  4. Lol all I'm saying is there is a reason why all our enemies and most countries use the AK. Also what a out the 1800 confirmed deaths of US servicemen in Afghanistan and Iraq due to Colt M4 malfunctions and overheats. Sorry to go off topic but in a SBR I think a larger more potent round than 5.56 might wanna be used especially under 12". Just my opinion.
  5. We all talk about SHTF scenarios and how .223/5.56 is going to be plentiful when we are picking up military and LE weapons as we move down the path but many don't realize that a true situation is likely to be an invasion of another country.....China? Almost everyone of our enemies use the AK47 or 74 and as they come to our shores if it happens...AKs and 7.62 or 5.45 will be used against us most likely. Let them supply us and we need to have full understanding and working ability of their rifles which leads me to owning an AK LMAO...someone tell me I'm wrong HaHa!!
  6. You know I would put a $700 or $850 AK in my hands if i knew it was professionally built and top quality..oh yeah I did already! LMAO my Arsenal AK out shoots my AR which is a top tier all day long and for that it's worth it to me
  7. I remember about 3 years ago I could pickup a Saiga 12 for $299! Man I was an idiot for not getting on that band wagon
  8. I agree on shopping around. Everyone wants the Arsenal AK so I understand them not wiggling and I did get a fair price compared to online so I'm very happy. Gotta do your homework!
  9. That is true because if you buy a NEW CAR from a dealer, atleast someone else drove it before you atleast one time, it doesn't mean It's not new. What did you buy? Sounds like an optic or a scope. Did you buy it on TGO?
  10. Many people sell items as brand new even if they "test for function." I always assume this when I purchase from an individual. If I wanted something that has never been touched at all I go to the manufacturer for the item. I myself currently selling an item that is new in package that was never shrink wrapped but I did put batteries in it and checked it for function. This does not lower the value of the item but makes me sure that what I sell works cause it would look bad on me if I sold another individual a defective item. Just my opinion.
  11. SHOOT ME NOW BECAUSE I JUST PUT ON A MAGPUL CTR STOCK ON MY AK47!!
  12. Another option is to do a SBR AK47 or 74. Many use a DRACO type AK pistol and attach a stock, either M4 style or folding. You can add a suppressor or not, but the 7.62x39 or 5.45 round will still pack a hell of a punch over the 5.56 on a SBR...IMO.
  13. When I was in Knoxville last week, I had been looking all over Mid TN for an Arsenal AK47 SGL21 and no one had it. Thought I was going to have to order online but called up Coal Creek since I was in the area and spoke with Mark. He advised they had only 1 in stock and I advised I was coming to get it. He pulled it off the shelf for me and it was ready to go when I got there. One thing....he flat refused to discount it even though I was paying with 100 dollar bills but whatever i got it for a reasonable price. As far as his other inventory though, it was a bit limited and overpriced including the Glocks and Sigs. He was asking 599 for a Sig 2022 9mm which is crazy!! Long story short, he was the only guy that had what I wanted without a transfer.
  14. Arsenal AK47 all the way. I have a SGL21-71 with a VLTOR converted AR15 buffer tube with a Magpul M4 stock. I paid $779 for mine, but Arsenals are getting hard to find and if you do get one, hold on to it! Arsenal is about the best you can get, and then you can pay a custom shop like Krebs or Red Jacket to build you a rifle that is $2,000 but not any better than the Arsenal.
  15. Yeah buddy I must have missed you, I didn't get there until 1045. Talked to Dont Tread on Me as well. That's awesome you got the rifle sold. Picked me up a thousand 7.62 and a case for my Arsenal AK.
  16. From what I heard the AR platform with a 7.62x39 round has alot of reliability issues. Stick with an AK and you'll be gtg!
  17. I'll go with ya buddy! Hit me up on a message and let me know when your going. I'll bring the Sig if it ain't gone today.
  18. Gotta love the Winchester Defender Pump. Here is a visual for comparison:
  19. P229 Elite Dark .40/.357 LOL Sorry..had to do it
  20. Taurus model 92 .38 special 4" revolver from 1979. Scored 100% LMAO
  21. Thanks for correcting me, I couldn't remember lol
