  1. Hope I dotted all my I's and crossed all my T's..... And hope there's still some C&R guns for sale once my license comes in!
  2. My main carry gun is a Glock 26, but I'm looking at getting a 43 for when the summer gets here so I can carry it easier in shorts.   Since you already have a 19, the 26 would make more sense as a BUG in my opinion, seeing that you could carry an extra 19 mag that could be used in either gun.   Also you'd already be familiar with the functionality and trigger of the 26.   I also have a 19, but I feel the 26 is enough for me in most situations.  It's 10 rounds in the smallest package that I can shoot accurately.  I've only held the Shields and dry fired a few times, but I just couldn't get a solid enough grip on it for my liking.  Which is why I haven't already bought the 43, because I prefer the thicker grip....
  3. I have a Springfield Loaded in 9mm and the Ruger SR1911....   My Springfield has had feeding issues.  Not sure if it was magazine related, or if it the spring is too stiff and needs to be broken in more or if it's just because it's a 9mm in a pistol designed for a 45 acp.   The Ruger SR1911 runs like a champ and I can hit anything I point it at.
  4. I'd like to hear from you guys about the Star Model B and the Hi Power.  Pros, Cons, thoughts?
  5. 6. I NEED AN M1 GARAND!
  7. You sir, are a wealth of knowledge.  Thank you
  8. Does anybody know why the barrel is threaded? I'm also pleasantly surprised that the front sight is fully adjustable!
  9. Which charger/stripper clips do they use?   The regular SKS ones?
  10. I was the lucky winner of this Egyptian Rasheed off gunbroker, and I picked it up today! Just need a sling, and then a Hakim to go with it
  11. Those rifles are gorgeous.   Did you refinish the stocks or did you buy them in that condition?
  12. This is why you should come to my house and reload your own 308 cartridges.... That way you don't hurt your gun
  13. So you want to hold another man's Johnson?
  14. Or donate it to a worthy soul
  15. This is amazingly gorgeous! I'm curious as to how much this is worth
  16. Swedish Ljungman standing by....
  17. Very nice
  18. I'm very jealous!   If I may ask, roughly how much do you have in this build so far?   I'm hoping to build an AR10 in the not so distant future
  19. This cold/snowy weather spell that we're having really shows me how much time during the year I can spend on reloading.   Sure, when you look at the initial startup cost, it can be a large deterant, but if you look at it as a one time investment, it's not so bad.  For less than the price of one firearm you can have all the equipment you need to start being free from having to wonder if ammo prices are going to be up or down, or if you'll be able to even find ammo in stores next month. It's a fun hobby that supports my shooting hobby, and gives me added value and education to my love of shooting.  It's not only about saving money, but having the ability, the control, and knowing that you don't have to rely on other people in order to continue the shooting sports.
  20. That's my backup plan if the pressure fitting starts to get sloppy
  21. Perhaps I could rig up some kind of arm to support a golf umbrella...
  22. It has become one of my favorite cartridges, and I can reload it for right at 50 cents a shot
  23. Ramjo didn't have a shooting table, and he wanted a table that he could move easily by himself. We thought about a small lightweight table, or perhaps a table on wheels with a trailer hitch. After throwing around some ideas, I thought it would be convenient to make a table that could be taken apart and assembled by one person without any tools, and if it could fit in the bed of my truck, that would be a bonus.... So here's what I came up with... It's four pieces and the top is the heaviest (probably 40-50 lbs that will hopefully get lighter as the pressure treated wood dries out) And it's surprisingly stable... Now I just have to build Ramjo one, because I'm keeping this one! Perhaps I can improve on the overall design a little more. Feel free to steal this idea or offer any suggestions
  24. Swedish Ljungman in 6.5x55mm
  25. Whenever it comes in, I'm going to tell everybody that I'm going to pick up my mail order Swedish blonde.....
