  1. Good for them! If we can get further concentration of 2nd amendment supporters in the red states, maybe we can keep the extreme libtards concentrated in just a few blue states.
  2.   Yes, I think Mr. Haas needs to correct his statement...unfortunately the correction, if there is one, will probably be posted in some remote section of the paper and won't be corrected in the electronic version of the article...but I could be wrong.
  3. I'm going to disagree that the interested parties will completely give in on the UBC issue. If anything does get passed into law concerning increased background checks, it will likely not require centralized record keeping and it probably also include exemptions for transactions among family members and perhaps even HCP holders.   I was reminded tonight how the records maintained by dealers on Form 4473 could be misused when I was watching a rerun of the original "Red Dawn" movie. One of the first things that the invaders went after were the 4473 forms at the local sporting goods stores so they could determine who the gun owners were.
  4. The article infers that the National Shooting Sports Foundation now supports the universal background check effort. I looked on their website and I don't see where they have come out in support of UBC, so I wonder if this is Brian's sad attempt at an April Fool's joke. :shake:
  5.  I believe the frame construction is very similar to High Standard revolvers like the Double-Nine without the double action features of course. See the link below.   http://unblinkingeye.com/Guns/HSD9/hsd9.html
  6.   I would have given you some green too...didn't know it was for sale.
  7. Presidential elections are won in the middle...go to the extremes either way and you loose. Also, not voting for a candidate because he/she isn't your perfect candidate is just giving a vote to the other side. I think the non-votes hurt Romney more than anything else in the last election. I'm not a fan of any of the possible candidates mentioned, but I'd likely still vote for them even though they aren't my perfect candidate (who is?) if they became the GOP nominee. I would say that I'd consider voting for a moderate/conservative democrat, but I think that is now an oxymoron...they don't really exist.
  8. Those are really nice...and that Sig is gorgeous. I didn't realize that the 220 came in .22LR.
  9. Wow, didn't see that coming, but this is still likely a minority view within the Black community, even though you wonder how it could not be the majority view. Of course the Jewish communities also seem to have a minority that are strong supporters of the 2nd amendment, and I just don't get that either.  Maybe with all of this, together with intraspective changes within the GOP, we will see a resurgence that will throw the bums out in 2014.
  10.     +1 on both of these responses!
  11.   That's not how the liberals roll. ;)
  12. Great article...thanks for posting. I bookmarked friend or foe.
  13.   The SR9C is a great gun, but I haven't seen one new for a sub $400 price in quite a while.
  14.   That really was a great price for that model 39. :stunned:
  15. WTF...to use language that he would understand, Shumer is a putz and a schmuck!
  16. It's actually not a three barrel, but that's what I thought when I first saw it. The whole barrel section actually pivots on the center and the firing pin is built into the hammer.
  17. I've got a couple .22WMR derringers, but don't carry them. I got them for a good price, but neither of them are from high quality manufacturers. I would like to find some quality ones, but the prices are usually more than I want to spend when I come across them. I do like unique guns, so that's why I picked this one up.
  18. I feel like I'm fairly well stocked, but I've reduced my trips to the range so I don't get myself into a position where I feel understocked until this craziness is over.
  19.   Yeah, but they seem to be able to get more of them in every few weeks.  You have to move quick when they do get them though, because it doesn't take long for them to sell out.
  20. Wow, both of those tables are really nice.
  21. Tempting, but prices are higher by the crate than individually at AIM.
  22.   I can definitely relate to that statement.
  23. LCPfraTN

    22lr price

I'm having those very thoughts myself...I don't think i'd be that greedy, but I keep asking myself if I should do an inventory of my ammo stock, and perhaps make a little money on anything that I have "excess" supplies of.      That, and even if their margins are higher than normal, they need that in order to make up for less available stock to sell.  And if they don't sell it at higher prices now, their buyers may simply resell what they purchase at the current "market rate"....whatever that is.
