  1. I forget the company but someone makes a .458 caliber air rifle and I remember hunting pics on their website of killing buffalo with it. No BS
  2. What I fail to realize/understand is why a switchblade is illegal to carry but a 4" fixed blade isnt. This is like banning the full auto knife or something, stupid.
  3. Glock makes hi-cap mags for the large frames too, i believe they are 26 rounds? Also look into .45super. Personally if you are wanting something for the extended range outside the house fight. Get a 16" 5.56 carbine and stick with pistols and training inside the house
  4. If you are considering a PCC now, a 10mm carbine would be ideal and should have an effective range of about 150yards i would think, maybe more. Using Doubletap ammo, itll get the job done. Only one is know of is the Thureon Defense GA carbine. Basically an AR that uses glock mags and chambered in pistol calibers. Better IMO than the Just Right Carbine. The JRC doesn't hold bolt open on empty mag. There are other customs including MP5-style 10mms, Ive heard of a 10mm Thompson (heavy), i dont think theres much else.
  5. Dang, from the title I thought they were selling surplus WMDs from Iraq...
  6. I predict it having a fairly recognizable impact on attendance.
  7. 4" legal limit no matter what the configuration Thats blade length though not overall length
  8. If i were getting a 1911 for carry, I would not get a S&W or a Sig simply for the fact of an external extractor, where the 1911 was designed to function properly with an internal extractor. I personally want an Ed Brown Special Forces Carry but they are very pricey. I second the Ruger SR1911 commander.
  9. No! Keep the thing chambered. If someone has bad enough intentions to break into someone elses house, particularly when they are home, they are willing to take care of you and you just gave away your position. The element of surprise and "home field advantage" is your best friend here
  10. Oh man im dying here! Too funny! I can see that being very useful as a prank...
  11. Its low land out past 200yards, probably hasnt dried up yet from the rain. Its always been messy and muddy out there.
  12. First was a S&W Sigma 9mm sold it maybe a few months later. Trigger on that gun was horrible.
  13. Spare mags are no good when theres no ammo to put in them...
  14. Purely guessing but referring to cloud data storage. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_storage
  15. Its being done now. Not 6 months but more like 2-3 years. Winchester WinClean ammo does have a short shelf life, its the primer though not the powder.
  16. Clouds, pork, exercise, Mexico. :D Im gonna have to make sure I incorporate all the words from that list into my vocabulary used online. As I have seen posted before, If I havent been put on at least one govt watch list yet, someones not doing their job. Im sure just being a member, much less a benefactor to this site has one on a list somewhere.
  17. Probably more of a drive than you want but Terry Waldens range in Manchester goes out to 330yards.
  18. Google and youtube the sig 556r, they have their problems...
  19. Now that i think about it, sounds like a very useful tool for a poacher...
  20. You shouldnt be shooting game (animals) at that range anyways.
  21. Someone who actually KNOWS, can say for sure but i think its 12years old before she has to have the hunters safety course.
  22. Detachable magazine? Does it shoot any better?
  23. What is FPS?
