  1. I firmly believe that Murphy chooses the unprepared to strike out against. Lol Chance favors the prepared mind.
  2. The truth of the matter is that if you plan on bugging out to the woods, YOU WILL DIE. Bugging out is NOT just leaving civilization to go play in the woods and think you can actually survive for any length of time when youve never been anywhere wilder than the city park or zoo. Bugging out is leaving the city and TRAVELLING to your bug out location that is stocked with food, water, guns, ammo and all other supplies. You are only trying to get there. It should be no more than a 3 day hike or the range of your vehicle with a full tank and what full fuel cans you have on hand. If you dont have a bug out location, plan on staying put and bugging in. Bushcraft and living off the land isnt as easy as it sounds. You wont survive any real length of time no matter what kind of gear you have without an extensive skill set and lots of experience.
  3. Dang, I think you need to start being a travelling motovational speaker! Seriously, that is the most common sense Ive heard in a long while! People have abandoned the concept of paying for what you get and if you cant pay, dont get it.
  4. I believe the reason TN allowed any centerfire for deer is because of the size of deer around here. .223 is fine for TN deer but dont expect to be able to go out west and be able to take a 400lb mule deer with it either.
  5. Care to expound on that? Only one im aware of is the Akdal MKA1919 and it doesnt work on standard AR10 lower and the RAS12 which uses proprietary ammo.
  6. LCP is far from the best unless you are talking value for your money, but is still an excellent pistol especially for a.380acp.
  7. I dont open carry unless at home. I usually carry my G19 in a Galco OWB holster (combat master). I guess you call it level 1 retention? I will not carry a holster in public with a snap or anything else holding it aside from tension, im not that paranoid. I always have either a tshirt over it or a jacket/coat over it so technically its CC but usually prints in someway. Im 6'4" 220lbs and havent found anything that doesnt print in someway. I also pocket carry a j frame either as a BUG or as discrete carry if the situation dictates it
  8. Maybe so but eventually they will see change whether they like it or not.
  9. Seems like more marketing BS just like Extreme Shock ammo
  10. Nobody would have given him a second look, especially considering it was in Downtown Nashville.
  11. Most people attending the NRA convention, would be reasonable and carry in a normal discreet case.
  12. Ed Browns will run no matter what. The Special Forces is designed as a hard use pistol. I just dont like the feel of alternative texturing on a 1911.
  13. The Glock 1911 always gets rereleased on April 1 every year, never makes production though somehow.
  14. Ed brown Special Forces with light rail and 25lpi checkering on front and backstrap instead of whatever grip texturing is standard on that model. And g10 grips Or Ed brown executive elite with genuine elephant ivory grips Or i could just keep going, sooo many.
  15. Personally he is the BEST candidate to test the TFFA and see if it stands up. Just think, if he tests it and it holds up against the feds, we win by having a legal precedent. If he tests it and loses and gets locked up for real finally, we win by not having to deal with his shenanigans anymore. Win/Win situation
  16. Talk about mandatory handloading! I had never even heard of the cartidge prior to this thread. Can you make the brass from something else? .30-06? .308?
  17. Without info to say otherwise, im gonna say that he got lucky with a headshot on one of the rounds and it actually penetrated.
  18. He did not have a simple case. Walking down the street with it, it appears for him to be carrying a firearm. No red flag sticking out of chamber visible to everyone to signify its unloaded. It also appeared to have a magazine inserted loaded or not you cant tell. If nothing else they could get him with public disturbance. There is a time and place for everything. Tell me when has it been commonplace since we have had cities in a civilized society, to carry a rifle through the downtown area of a city as large as Nashville? Never. Even in the old west around late 1800s, people didnt carry rifles openly in town, concealed pistols yes sometimes even open carry pistols but not rifles.
  19. He walked around a park holding a blackpowder revolver in his hand at the low and ready because law said he could. He painted the muzzle brake/flash hider on a real AK pistol orange so he wouldnt get shot. Then walked around a park with it slung on his shoulder. He talked about a plan to wear full body armor and carry a suppressed AR pistol slung on his shoulder and walk into Kentucky Legislature while in session at the capitol because he could. Yeah he's a real choir boy alright.
  20. K w i k r n u without spaces. He has a long history on the net. Real name is Leonard Embody. He has been banned from TGO and every other forum he has ever been on even a golden retriever dog forum, how you get banned from a dog forum beats me.
  21. Can anyone explain how he has avoided getting shot yet?
  22. Please tell me this is a joke....
