  1. Remember for every person who thinks your paranoid, there is someone else to remind you that you are slacking and not prepared enough.
  2. Looking good! Tires appear to be Nitto Terra Grapplers close to a 285/70/r17 best guess. Are those BMF wheels?
  3. In Tn you must have a permit to carry period, whether concealed or not
  4. Also .224BOZ
  5. Does Remington make golden sabers in .357sig? Thats what THP uses
  6. If you could find ammo for it where you are, 7mm-08 would be a good compromise. Bullet diameter at .284 is bigger than the .270 but a bit smaller than the .308 and will shoot flatter than the .308 and still retain the short action. 7mm bullets have an excellent ballistic coefficient as well.
  7. .270 requires the long action whereas the .308 utilizes the short action. .308 will be slightly lighter. . 270 will recoil more and shoot flatter. Id suggest .308
  8. Last magazine article on .22tcm said Armscor themselves didnt even have any load data ironed out yet.
  9. Im nowhere near Clarksville but would be curious to know which agricultural store carries ammo. Only ones around here dont unless they just started recently
  10. Tractor Supply?
  11. I rate it worse than murder. Murder is done with after its done, sexual crimes have a psychological effect afterwards that cant be measured.
  12. They ought to just put them out in the general population and not have repercussions for anything that happens to them.
  13. Even most criminals despise rapists, child molesters and other sexual predators. I dont think they would have returned the stolen items to hardly anywhere else
  14. Yep Nixon was just in the wrong timeframe
  15. Zombie squirrels!!!!!
  16. 10mm is either custom or a Colt Delta Elite pretty much
  17. Break in process can be an absolute pain on some boots. I just grin and bear it till they do break in. Nothing as comfortable to me as some good broken in boots
  18. Its ok. Post the link.
  19. And just to add what I actually have in my bug out/72hr bag. A ruger 22/45 lite and 100rounds, a full size .45 pistol with 50 rounds and an AR in 5.56 with 5 loaded 30rd mags. AR doesnt stay in the bag. Plan to upgrade to a 6.8 AR soon and add suppressors for all. Covers every conceivable situation for me.
  20. Same thing in my mind but ill let Spots speak for himself.
  21. The most gun means the most effective tool for the task at hand. A .22 is not the most effective at survival, and neither is a .50.
  22. Wow, I was not aware they were making 10mms now. That will be a fine pistol for sure!
  23. "Good enough" aint gonna cut it come survival time. You are going to be highly stressed and possibly your fine motor skills will be deteriorating as well. While a .223 will kill a deer no problem with a perfect shot, you better bank on not getting that perfect shot and bring a .30/30, .308, .45/70 or the like for large game. Should also anticipate most game becoming very timid with everyone moving around and shooting and the like. I have a question though. Since you are so fixated on ammo weight, are you planning on just wandering around in the woods and not actually going somewhere?
