  1. After recently really looking into solid copper projectiles, the only reason not to use them is cost that i see, they actually perform better than lead bullets. Now im about the biggest anti-green person you will find and loathe tree huggers but copper projectiles are the future, IMO, due to their performance and NOT because of the environment. I was unaware that the military will be switching to a copper projectile, this will only drive the cost down. I wonder, is there enough copper in pennies to melt them down and cast them into bullets or is the alloy all wrong?
  2. I live about 3 miles from there, scary.
  3. The reviews i read on the top one was it was flimsy. Im curious to see how you like yours. Ive heard either the Boker or the SOG is very nice.
  4. This is gonna be the first Christmas season since my dad passed away from cancer this past Feb. Its gonna be tough but just keep moving on. I cant even imagine what you must be going through. God bless you.
  5. As long as its leather or Ammo I vote for some good sights, sling, ammo butt cuff, or ammo
  6. I had to click the link to see what MDA was. I always thought MDA was the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
  7. Im 25 and im surprised that some people my age have managed to survive this long outside of a padded room. Between lack of common sense, common courtesy, knowing the basic English language and speaking it, basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, and common sense, I truly have no hope for mine or any future generations.
  8. FNS is striker fired FNX or FNP is hammer fired DA/SA
  9. .41 mag lever actions are highly coveted by those that do want them. Any reason aside from just because, over a .44mag? .410" and .429" isnt that different as far as bullet diameters go.
  10. That looks like a G18 selector switch on the revolver. If so, Ill take 2 please. Always wanted a full auto Glock revolver in .45acp
  11. What color or finish is that?! Looks awesome!
  12. Official prediction The Glock 40 will be a Practical Tactical model in 10mm, think large framed G34/35. The Glock 41 will be a .45ACP version of the Glock 40. The Glock 42 will be a single stack subcompact 9mm with a narrower frame and slide than the 26. In approximately a year, a French police force or maybe Canadian, or even French Canadian, will complain about the G26 being too large for their plainclothes officers to conceal carry. They will make a Franken-Glock with a G26 frame and G42 slide, because they like the capacity of 10 rounds of 9mm but also like the slim slide of the G42. Then Glock will make a Glock 26S and people everywhere will start pocket carrying them in tactical cargo pants as the "new" thing.
  13. I really wish it was a weapons permit and not a handgun permit.
  14. I carry a benchmade mini griptillian. I think its a 3" blade. Good size. Mine has held up well and im HARD on my tools, knives included.
  15. Sure it is. For CQB purposes, you have an automatic flash-bang with every round fired.
  16. I assume by "smart", you mean smart as in manufacturing John Browning's design.
  17. Its pretty simple really. You have a sign on your front counter that reads," We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for no reason at all"
  18. Holy f*ck I saw several times were people were inches or seconds from getting shot. Also, the only place ive ever seen more black clothing is at a Johnny Cash lookalike convention.
  19. So thankful she is back home safe! Been praying all day long.

    Para P12

It seems to be hit or miss with older Paras, good guns if you get one that works.
  21. I can see them doing a single stack 9 or a .380 set but i dont see them doing something as specialized as a competition-ready gun. JMO
  22. It explained in the article. "The barrel length was 66 feet, 8-inches, which gives them an artillery ‘caliber’ (length times bore) of 50, this led to their designation of 16-inch/50-caliber guns."
  23. Not to mention you have to have a remarkable skill level to utilize the difference between .300WinMag and .338LapuaMag. They both are antipersonnel rounds. The .300 is rated at around 1200 yards, while the .338 is rated for 1800+. I would personally get a .50bmg. You can spend as much as you want on the gun ammo and glass. Guns range from single shot bolt actions up to Barrett semi autos. Ammo ranges from surplus up to handloaded custom match grade ammo. I think the chamberings between .308 and .50 are very specialized.
  24. .357sig is what THP carries. Its an excellent cartridge. I would prefer the Glock 32 or 33.
