  1. Ive tried that before doing construction. Didnt work for me but im not as small as that guy
  2. There is also significant wear on the top of the barrel/chamber. Just sayin ;) From a fellow OCD'er.
  3. There are a few Smith revolvers that you can order without the internal lock system.
  4. My instructor said might want to not shoot a perfect score, which is very easy by the way. Reasoning was if you had to use your weapon DA might ask why you didnt just shoot him in the arm, etc to disarm him since your such a crack shot and had a perfecr score on your exam. I still kept all mine in the x Edit: oh and the gun i qualified with has long since been traded. Most had target .22s that they qualified with anyways. I have heard to use the largest caliber you might carry. Maybe he was confused with armed guard cert. You do have to qualify with each individual weapon you carry for armed guard.
  5. If i see a sign it lets me know that i need to make sure its concealed. Unless its a federal building and actually prohibited by law. And i really wish town halls and post offices didnt count in that.
  6. Its not a K frame .44 its a L frame. Still very nicenice
  7. Magpul now makes an all metal version of their flip up sights. I believe they call the the MBUS Pro
  8. Blizzard of 90 was bad drifts where i was. You could see grass in one spot and 10 ft away there was a 6ft tall snow drift.
  9. Grip safeties along with trigger safeties are PASSIVE safeties, they deactivate when the gun is gripped correctly, you dont have to worry or make a conscious effort to deactivate them. A thumb safety, I can see the dislike for. Personally I dont care for grip safeties or any other safeties for that matter but they arent a deal breaker. I love XDs but not the grip safeties, I still have the XDs.
  10. Ahh, right over my head.
  11. ??? Did i miss something? Its chambered in 9mm
  12. The thing that kills me about the Henry rifles is how they load, they load from the muzzle end into the tubular magazine like some .22 rifles do
  13. I dont have experience but doesn't a 16" barrel require a different gas system, whereas a 18" doesnt?
  14. Seems to me they would have had their own shine brand first
  15. Speaking of this has me thinking, was there ever a .380acp rifle? That could be converted if there ever were one
  16. I can tell by font that that is a "Guns and Ammo" article. They have been known several times to make mistakes like that.
  17. Yeah that needs, A new frame designed for the shorter cylinder A shorter barrel, likely 4" Non ported barrel Smaller frame, similar to K frame with shorter cylinder window Short underlug or none at all
  18. Guns and ammo and american handgunner, only get them to find out about the new stuff out, they certaintly arent credible
  19. Might be a bit easier to just post that its at Terry Waldens gun range. Most people around there know where that is. I had to check to website to see if there was another range that had opened up that I was unaware of.
  20. I noticed that Walmart in Murfreesboro Old fort pkwy had .50bmg also
  21. Glock isnt innovative anymore, for one because they dont have to be, they made a name for theirselves. Two, i dont think Gaston is in charge anymore.
  22. Ive always wondered if a handirifle or encore could be rechambered to .32acp
