  1. Dont know how true it is but I have read that hogs react more to the shock from high velocity small-medium bore than from slow and heavy.
  2. Outpost Armory usually has .22tcm in stock
  3. M2 Browning here
  4. Looks nice. Ill have to convince myself to get a polymer lower though...
  5. Does anybody make reliable 30rd+ magazines yet?
  6. Article i read mentioned research would be done there as well. Id say that close proximity to Redstone Arsenal and Boeing sure didnt hurt matters.
  7. Haslam is a businessman first, Governor second. Unions are bad for business. Why would he sway any other way?
  8. Ive always wanted to get a dually truck and make a custom gooseneck mount to fit a M2HB in the bed.
  9. You can manual feed but it wont feed from magazine. I tried it with a buddies pistol. And to echo previous posters, .22 shotshells have to be very close to work and you would need a perfect shot to stop a snake. Something around .44-.45 caliber would be best. .45acp, .45colt, .44mag, etc.
  10. Na not yet but it somewhat stays put, whereas in the front it likes to turn sideways and print horribly.
  11. I usually back pocket carry. Only because i dont have a front pocket holster yet
  12. .45 The extra mass retains energy and drop os negligible between the two
  13. The 5.7 is just a glorified .22mag in a way. It is faster than a .22 mag but not fast enough to yaw and tumble like 5.56. I dont really consider it that high of a capacity either when you have the xdm9 with 19+1 vs the fiveseven's 20+1. I think the fiveseven's main advantage is low recoil for elderly or females. I have always thought the 5.7 is a great gun for new shooters
  14. Im gonna make a wild guess at retribution/ payback considering his former profession.
  15. Maybe member "Magiccarpetrides" will chime in. I may be mistaken but i think he is a car salesman.
  16. City Auto in Murfreesboro. Had a buddy buy from there, very happy. For the most part, people just dont take care of their vehicles anymore. No pride of ownership.
  17. Anything not lead core will be longer, like the Barnes being solid copper or steel core surplus
  18. I may be mistaken, but I believe its because the black Kahrs are stainless with a black coating/finish on top. Whereas the other manufacturers likely dont. My all black P380 has "Stainless" stamped into the side of the slide.
  19. If its new, put a few hundred rounds through it before carrying it, they need broken in to be reliable. The trigger is much like a DAO revolver trigger. Long but very smooth. This is coming from someone whose EDC is a Kahr.
  20. Might look at a Magpul PRS type stock upgrade, some sort of muzzle brake instead of the flash hider and a dropin trigger upgrade. I would also add a long quad rail and a bipod
  21. The answer to your question is "more". I, along with many others, believe if we have a societal collapse, ammo will be a valuable commodity and trade fodder for many things. It doesnt go bad and can be used in the meantime. Always need more. Just like food and water storage.
  22. Heck, last time I was in Old Fort Walmart, they had American Eagle .50BMG on the shelf. According to Winchester, their "WinClean" and other ammo with lead free primers does expire after 1-2 years. After that time, it may or may not fire due to the primers deteriorating. They just dont have the technology to manufacture lead free primers that last forever.
  23. Yeah, I was envisioning a .50BMG round. At .50/.338 ranges you have enough time to make minor corrections and should have enough case volume to house the guidance system. Problem is finding a way to "tag" a person or object that moves during flight time
  24. Care to elaborate?
  25. I think the R&D would have been better spent on making a bullet that corrects itself inflight according to gps marker
