  1. Ankle i dont think it would affect as much but for pocket carry, weight is huge, get as light as you can afford. Some of the super light Smiths are expensive. If you carry alot and shoot little, get airweight. If you shoot alot and carry little, go steel unless you belt carry then get anything.
  2. Id opt for the S&W personally. No real reason other than I prefer metal especially in a revolver and the LCR is just ugly IMO. My experience has been with a S&W M&P340, which is a scandium frame (very light) .357mag. Wasnt a problem for me, but might be for some.
  3. Yep make it a semi rim/rimless but then you have .458socom in an AR.
  4. Not just for someone elses meal but my own. I find it appalling how little people tip. Sometimes there are people who tip around 5% or less. I get called a big tipper for tipping 15-20% and that's for below average service
  5. People have their own preferences as to what kind of reel to use. I personally prefer an open face. You can spend alot but for general bass fishing on the lake i really like the Bass pro shops brand rod and reel combo for the money.
  6. I would do colored furniture if anything.
  7. Facts don't really matter. They are just trying to fix what isnt broken. Actually, I believe I read it was at request of the military to lighten the ammo for soldiers but it failed miserably.
  8. I call bs on the Taurus. NOBODY in their right mind would carry a polymer framed taurus .357 I have 2 buddies that both carry a G30 one a s and one a sf. Another buddy carries a bersa. How or why did more glocks or revolvers not make the list?
  9. It is the 9mm that the TCM converts to but the TCM uses a modified shortened .223rem case
  10. The scandium frame S&Ws are the exception to that. They are perfect hiking guns IMO The G20 is a great hiking gun as well as long as black bear is as big as it gets. Not saying a bit 200 gr hardcast wont take down a grizzly with the right shot but id rather not chance it
  11. Meth and especially weed farms. Remember .44mags get heavy after awhile. Id much rather carry a 1911 than a 629 all day long.
  12. Also id like a .460rowland conversion that works and is safe for the firearm WITHOUT a compensator or porting.
  13. I want something like a Calico submachine gun chambered in .45acp or a p90 in .45acp. Would also like a bullpup in .300blk.
  14. Very nice! Forgive my ignorance, but why is it a 2 stamp gun? SBR or FA ?
  15. He is referencing a M1A, semi auto version of the M14, shoots .308win, certainly good for beyond 100yards. Im assuming you are thinking of the M1 carbine shooting .30carbine.
  16. Im from Manchester, not down there anymore but when I was, i shot at Terry Waldens range. No where else to shoot that i know of unless you have connections to go shoot at AEDC.
  17. http://www.blackhawk.com/product/SpecOps-Gen-II-Adjustable-Shotgun-Stock,1808,165.htm
  18. Id suggest trying the Blackhawk recoil reducing stock. After that maybe step down to 20 ga if necessary.
  19. If you need that small, they are in a class of their own. Single action though. Is a J frame too big for what you're wanting?
  20. An AR style rifle is available or could be in every caliber made. Everything from .22lr to .338lapua mag in semi auto and the extreme range calibers (.50bmg, .416barrett, .408cheytac, .375cheytac) are available in a bolt action upper. Possibilities are endless.
  21. I voted all the time, but cant carry at work (foreign trade zone). Carry all other times.
  22. Why must they feed the monster?
  23. Actually the new Hemis have more in common with the GM LSx engines than anything, some parts will actually interchange. And if you take comparable cars, the modern version will weigh MORE than the old ones, all the electronics and safety equipment we have now is quite heavy. Compare, say a 12-way power adjustable heated leather seat to a muscle cars bucket seat, no comparison. Also, the 2014 Challenger SRT8 has 470hp.
