  1. I carry a Kahr p380 now and did have a SW 340pd, a j frame .357mag scandium frame. Both were excellent. Also great are the lcp, keltec p3at, naa guardians, any jframe, pm9, sig 238, etc
  2. I don't agree. Internet tells you what market value is, not just how low or how high it can sell for. I dont think its ethical to sell it way above market value just because most of your customers can and will pay it because you have it and others dont. You have to make a profit but dont rape people on price. If you sell 50 glocks a month for 650 and paid 400 for them when market value is 550, not ethical imo. But shops get away with it all day every day. I avoid those shops for that reason too.
  3. Gaston Glock prays to John Moses Browning for guidance.
  4. Maybe they are hard to deal with as a dealer. I have heard that about why some shops dont deal with other manufacturers.
  5. Me personally, I would just drive there and back. But i do realize its not practical for everyone. I dont fly or travel without at least one gun.
  6. Ok now we know its imported, best in the world and relatively heavy. Also unless you are reselling the stuff, its consumable. Imported means likely not a restricted product. And its not booze, tobacco, or ammo. Im gonna go with seafood of some sort now.
  7. Some fine alcohol of some sort is my guess. Whatever it is is consumable. My guess is liquor, cigars, or ammo. In that order.
  8. I read somewhere that Remington had been sold from Freedom Group/Cerebus
  9. Ok, im getting pretty irritated right now. Ive never smoked a pipe before and honestly decided to start because my buddy just started and my dad smoked one when I was little. I have a Dr. Grabow briar pipe and Sir Walter Raleigh tobacco. It either gets clogged up completely or will not stay lit beyond 4-5sec. Is there something I am doing wrong or should be doing differently?
  10. I bought a cheap briar pipe only cost about $20 but i fully expect to replace it later. I dont mind the smell but i dont want my tobacco to taste like those flavors. I see online you can spend up into the thousands on a pipe, any benefit to those aside from aesthetics? Anything elsr I will need aside from the pipe, tobacco, matches and pipe cleaners? I read something about a tamper, necessary?
  11. I use hair clippers with a #4 guard. Works for me. Might give a slightly different result though.
  12. Im interested in this and wondered if anybody here did smoke from a pipe? I dont smoke cigarettes. I smoke a cigar from time to time. This is something just for leisure with friends. I was wondering what the good quality brands/types of pipes are and where to get them. Im in the Murfreesboro/Smyrna area and dont know of a good local smoke shop. Also, what is some good tobacco to use. Thanks
  13. I would go with metal if possible. When i shop for anything involving a warranty, I buy the one with the longest warranty, not for the warranty but it will likely be built better, no manufacturer wants warranty claims.
  14. I would say hello so he would now be facing me. Then clear the rest of the house quickly.
  15. Tell him to swing by DHS on the way and pick up some ammo. :D
  16. The P380 is much better finished than the CW380, also has a different barrel. I have no complaints from mine, it goes everywhere with me. I havent even laid hands on a G42 yet so all I can say is from pictures it appears bigger. Big enough I personally wouldnt try to pocket carry it.
  17. I concur, the Kahr P380 is IMO the best pocket .380 available, all things considered. The Kahr has, which some pocket guns dont, good usable sights, standard American placement of the magazine release, and last round locks the slide back for a reload. Two that come to mind in the same quality spectrum as the Kahr, is the Seecamp and Rohrbaugh, they both lack some or all of those things. So all things considered, I dont think you can do better as a pocket pistol than a Kahr P380. .380 and .38 are very close in effectiveness and a .380 will be much flatter to conceal.
  18. I have decided that .22lr is obsolete.
  19. Ive always fished on ultralite rods and when fishing for stripe, i used a chartreuse rooster tail alot. TONS of fun.
  20. Didnt that just happen in Connecticut?
  21. It takes a triple PHD to understand Smith and Wessons number system ;)
  22. Ankle i dont think it would affect as much but for pocket carry, weight is huge, get as light as you can afford. Some of the super light Smiths are expensive. If you carry alot and shoot little, get airweight. If you shoot alot and carry little, go steel unless you belt carry then get anything.
