  1. Food and a way to prepare it.
  2. Forgive my ignorance, but what kind of drink was that? What was on top of the glass? And why did he slam it in the bar right before drinking it?
  3. I stick with Levi and Carhartt, might have to check out some Duluths though
  4. No .30-06 handgun that I know of aside from the single shots
  5. He said no polymer.
  6. There is an article in the American Handgunner May/June 2013 issue. You may be able to find it online somewhere but it's an article about "9mm Gems" the 11 pistols are Luger P-08 Browning P-35 (Hi Power) Walter p 38 Sig p210 CZ75 S&W 39 Sig P220/226 Beretta 92 HK p7 Springfield Armory EMP Glock 19
  7. Browning Hi Power CZ 75 Beretta 92 Sig P 226 Sig P210 1911 in 9mm Those would be my choices, and pretty much in that order. A nice Belgian Browning would look awfully nice next to one of your fine S&W revolvers. Might also look for a S&W 5906, but I agree with Dave, your S&W 39 would be hard to beat unless you want high capacity or a gun to be hard on.
  8. It for the children :)
  9. Have the 6" cut down to 5". Perfect compromise! Between the two, it's either the portability of the 4" or the extra ballistics of the 6" barrel. At 50 yards and closer, the extra sight radius won't affect things much. Me personally I believe the 4" would have infinitely more practical uses and would actually be used more where as the 6" would just be a bit to big and be left at home.JMO
  10. Watered down scotch should be punishable offense.* * not really, we don't need more laws but it's still wrong.
  11. He never said how big he was but some of us might be bigger.
  12. I look like an idiot I'm laughing so hard!
  13. Neither do I or ALOT of other people.
  14. Think? I'm betting that is more like a .375h&hmag or a nitro express

    S&W 19

No way in he// id trade a 686-4 for a 19-8. Nope. Id have a hard time letting a 686-4 for ANYTHING. From what little research I did awhile back, the -4 is the best one to have all things considered.
  16. For carry ammo, I really like the Barnes TAC XPD. It is expensive but I like the solid copper bullet for short barrel pocket guns. It's what I carried when I had a Kahr P380 myself. But for range ammo I like American Eagle personally.
  17. I'm gonna have to use that one :)
  18. I'm pretty sure "dramatic performances" would cover what anybody is likely to use it for.
  19. It is not the way God and John Moses Browning intended. And it looks like hammered sh*t. S&W went with an external extractor because they couldn't get an internal one to be reliable enough for their standards while using the manufacturing abilities they had.
  20. That has to be the quickest way to double the value of your glock I have ever seen.
  21. Confidence in your abilities. Old school works.
  22. Nice shooting! What optic are you running on that? Or just irons?
  23. I had a Remington 1911, although it was the basic model. I'm not well versed on 1911s AT ALL. Only had a few in hand and shot even less. However I thought it was a very nice pistol especially for around the $600 price point. I now own a Ruger SR1911CMD which is very nice also but has more modern features. I like it also. I have never owned a Kimber and doubt I ever will, too many nicer pistols IMO at that price point. I also detest any S&W or Sig 1911 because of the external extractor.
  24. I'm not so sure Id say a Glock is an upgrade to a colt hammerless. I always heard that Patton had a Colt SAA and a S&W 27 3 1/2". He called the S&W his killing gun.
  25. Sorry I should have quoted. I was asking Dave. I believe if I'm not mistaken Colt started making the Frontier Scout again.
