Is he a Class 3 dealer or LE/MIL? If not, he doesn't have a full auto Glock of any kind, legally. I'm guessing it either isn't a Glock, isn't full auto, or is a conversion. Or a combination of those three. Glock has never made a shoulder fired weapon of any kind. Just pistols and accessories and knives and shovels. I'm curious too, maybe you'll find out when you go shooting with him.

The movie Act of Valor, the acting was done by actual Navy SEALS supposedly. I believe it, the dialogue scenes weren't as smooth as most Hollywood movies, but the fight scenes were amazing. Anyways, if you pay attention in that movie, not one time did they go full auto with their M4s. It was always semi auto, make your shots count. It is amazing to see how efficient they are at what they do.

My thoughts exactly. Short barrel shotguns, short barrel rifles, and suppressors should not be on the registry. Short barrel shotguns and rifles were used in the early days of cartridge fired weapons because they were more powerful than any handgun cartridge available at the time and concealable. But now we have things like the S&W 500 and 460, .45/70 revolvers, ar and ak pistols, etc. that are more powerful than a lot of rifles. There is no reason to not have current manufacture machine guns available to the general public provided you have a tax stamp. Heck, they are federally registered, isn't that what they want anyways? Destructive devices I am not too familiar with.

If Colt sold a new Python, it might be a nice gun just like a new manufacture S&W Classic, but it won't be hand fitted like the old ones, doubtful it would have the famous Colt Royal Blue finish either. And a lot of people would pay for it to say Python on the barrel. It would be similar to most being perfectly happy with your standard S&W 686, but some seek out an old pinned and recessed Model 27.

I would love it if we could own new manufacture machine guns both US manufacture and imported. I don't anticipate nor expect them to be removed from NFA status, but at least make them available without an exorbitant price tag. However, those that do own the registered machine guns now have so much invested in them, that they would fight any legislation to make new ones available which would make theirs near worthless. I know there would be many more tax stamps applied for if they were legal.

What kind of budget? There are some chassis' that can get quite pricey. Might take a look at the new Magpul Hunter 700 chassis

The majority of the money (profit) goes to the assembler aka manufacturer not the individual parts suppliers. I used to work at Nissan in the quality dept. I was told on more than one occasion that it costs approximately $8,000 to build an Altima. They sell for mid-20s up to around $30k. That's a pretty high percentage of profit going back overseas. I buy according to where the company is based at. Not where they buy some of their parts. Don't kid yourself, Toyota, Nissan, etc would not be using American made parts if it wasn't financially benefitial to do so. They manufacture them here to save on importing costs when there is a huge automotive market in the US.

Well yall can say what you want about me but I'm not going to pay my hard earned money for a Japanese or any foreign country's vehicle when I can get what I need from an American companies product. I will admit I am a die hard GM guy and I'd buy a Ford before I'd buy a Toyota any day.

Ruger made a lever gun before in .44mag. The 96/44. It was so fugly nobody bought it. A lever action carbine is one of those things that really needs to be traditional to be successful.

I had a Kahr P380. I loved that little gun. It's my opinion that it is the best pocket .380 available. It's a a long very smooth DAO trigger, very much like a nice S&W revolver in DA. Long but very smooth, feels good but deliberate enough to act as the safety. Also it has all the functions of a full sized gun. By that I mean, it has a standard push button magazine release behind the trigger guard. It locks the slide back on the last round. It has an extractor. It has usable, decent sights, with better aftermarket options available. Just a great gun that weighs very little and can be used in your weak hand. I carried it weak side front pocket so the mini 1911 style single actions with a manual safety wouldn't work for me.

Ordinarily I would agree, but he said he fired .357s AFTER that and it was fine. Almost has to be a bad batch of ammo.
