The only pistol can you should be looking at are the AAC ti rant, the Silencerco octane, Silencerco osprey, or the liberty 9mm can.

We all know that Hollywood always uses the most flashy and over the top firearms. From Dirty Harry and his .44mag to the over usage of the Desert Eagle, etc. only makes sense to use the double barrel 1911 and we will probably see the double barrel AR in some movie soon. Although that pic above looks more like a double barrel Beretta 92 or something else but not 1911.

Didn't Glock have to make a heavier trigger just for the NYPD, somewhere around 10lbs? Sounds to me like the blame lies on the officers/ management and not the gun.

Me too. I'd love to have a .460 and a .500 but not for what he is asking. But then again, it is a full custom rifle, not really much worse than a $3-4k Wilson or Nighthawk. I did some research a little while back, and as far as I could find that is the only company that makes a lever gun in .460 or .500. Next closest thing is a puma in .454 or a WWG .50alaskan

After looking, the only one I saw now is the T4 and it looks more like a CCO, officers frame with a 3.8"bbl, slightly longer than an officers barrel but not quite as long as a commander. It was never something that I personally had an interest in and didn't really pay that close of attention to, just thought I remembered Nighthawk having one. I was thinking it was a full sized commander.

Nighthawk makes one or maybe a few but quite pricey.

It's not available for "recreational or miscellaneous purposes" in the US either. Weapon sights are one of the few exceptions to being able to legally purchase it. When I bought my tritium key fob, I had to order the tritium insert from Indonesia.

Tritium is the only thing I know of commonly used that glows on its own without being "charged" with an outside light source.

Yeah, I meant out of the bad area. He said himself it's not a good neighborhood. That coupled with he also said later about hearing gunshots and sirens on a regular basis and the lifted Impala tells me I would move. Plenty of nice and calmer places in TN to live.

7.62x40WT is nothing more than a slightly modified .300BLK. If you don't like blackout, the don't even look at the 7.62x40WT. There is no cartridge that will fit in an AR-15 magazine that will ethically take a hog at 400yds. Hogs are tough. If you want a 400yd hog gun, get a AR-10 in .308win. For an AR-15 good to 400yds on humans or whitetail deer, either the 6.8spc or the 6.5 Grendel are what you are looking at. I favor the 6.8spc as an alternative caliber, but nothing in the AR platform beats the 6.5grendel at extended ranges. 6.8spc was designed for a 14.5-16" barrel. Optimum SBR length is 12.5". 6.5 Grendel was designed for longer range and longer barrels 18"+ but it still performs out of a 16". Also, nothing will be as quiet as a .300BLK suppressed, except maybe a 9mm or a .22lr The only calibers from an AR-15 that I would be comfortable trying to make kills at 400yds would be either a 77gr 5.56, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8scp, or a supersonic .300BLK/7.62x40wt
