  1. I read they are factory rated for .45super. That's a lot of gun in a small package.
  2. Exactly what I was alluding to. I'll drive anywhere in state to buy something like a vintage S&W or a pre64 Winchester maybe even out of state to inspect and have sent to my FFL. But if it's in current production, I'll just have my gun shop order it if they don't have it.
  3. I know that article says it has proprietary mags but it doesn't. It takes standard BAR magazines but the bolt hold open will only work on their 30rounders instead of standard 20 rounders.
  4. If you want it in .308 just get a m1a or and AR10. The whole point of this gun is a semi auto .30-06
  5. As a seller I may or may not meet halfway. But I won't travel more than half way for someone. Either they meet halfway or they come to me not the other way around. As a buyer, if I can find it in a store I will buy it there to avoid the hassle. Most stuff I buy private sale is because it isn't made anymore.
  6. Slide lightening cuts and a MRDS doesn't make it a race gun. I happen to like the factory grip texture of a gen4 glock otherwise I wouldn't mind changing it. For the people of are against modifying carry guns, because there should be something on the market to suit you, I suppose you drive a completely stock vehicle as well because with everything on the market there should be something to suit you. Some of us just like it being modified and not like EVERY OTHER ONE OUT THERE.
  7. Carry on unless you plan on becoming intoxicated and having impaired judgement. It's what I would do in your situation and have done in similar situations in the past. most of the people I have met and later found out I carry either so do they or they are glad I carry or are indifferent to it even though they don't. I would make sure it stays concealed regardless though
  8. I'm interested to see an answer as well, but I'm guessing it has something to do with state of emergency or something like that.
  9. Any word on when this takes effect? I'll have to stop by when the changeover takes place. Never been to Everything Weapons. Outpost is one of the biggest shops in TN period.
  10. Both the hellcat and the c7z06 are supercharged v8s, not twin turbos but still forced induction v8s. The hellcat is so ridiculous that I'm not sure GM or Ford will try to surpass it in pure numbers. I think Ford will simply try to make a better car with its lighter weight but less than 700hp. Not sure about GM but they do have the Lt4 @ 650hp they could drop in the 6th gen Camaro in either zl1 or z28 trim. Beyond 700hp is nearly impossible to keep under control in rwd . That much power needs AWD to be effective but a muscle car should be rwd. I'm anxious to see how the new Grand Cherokee with the Hellcat does. Trackhawk I believe it will be called. AWD + 707hp should be interesting even with that much weight.
  11. I haven't shot one but they certainly feel better in hand than anything with a synthetic stock. The 77/22 takes 10/22 mags as well.
  12. With an HCP in TN you can carry it loaded and chambered. Not sure about AL though
  13. I bought a S&W knife before I knew anything about knives. S&W makes a good gun, should be a good knife right? Nope. Within a week the blade on mine was so loose I was afraid to use it. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Now I just stick with what I know is quality.
  14. This brings me heartache yet also makes me smile at the same time. Thankfully I dont have kids to have to deal with public schools.
  15. I have driven both correctly sized turbo engines and oversized turbo engines with large amounts of lag. As well as naturally aspirated engines of all sorts. The main problem I have is lack of throttle response with the smaller engines whether they have forced induction or not. Only difference is with forced induction the power comes on later. I prefer linear power delivery of a large displacement engine.
  16. The problem is, a boosted 4 or 6 banger doesn't have that part throttle tq of a v8. Turbos especially.
  17. Along with a vacation. That's just uncalled for. Now a precedent has been set. You can now look forward to this in every gay thread from here on out.
  18. X2. LineX is available in lots of colors. I don't know, but I highly doubt that paint will adhere to textured bed liner.
  19. I read an article recently that 21" was the optimal barrel length for velocity. Any longer just gets you more sight radius and easier to swing.
  20. A trailer must have a front weight bias or it will sway going down the road. Heavy bias on the front is not bad, doesn't have to be excessive.
  21. I only tried it once and screwed up pretty bad as well. I read later that using a hot knife makes it much easier.
  22. I don't use the term often at all since it it overused a lot o the web, but this guy was a legitimate troll. Just trying to get a response and when he got one he rode that train as long as he could. I wouldn't be surprised if a lawsuit gets threatened.
