  1. I tried out my buddies and the trigger was so heavy it was unmanageable for me at least, probably compounded by the fact I could barely hold onto it. I bet that trigger had to be 12 lbs or more
  2. What caliber? .44mag .454casull or .480ruger
  3. Doug Turnbull is the only person I would trust aside from Colt
  4. The Kahr P380 is cream of the crop for the polymer pocket .380s
  5. Talk about nice! Shame though if someone did refinish it, at least you can still have it redone by Colt.
  6. Are you needing to pass through a metal detector undetected? I find it hard to beat an ESEE Izula for an EDC fixed blade. A plastic knife just doesn't make much sense to me. How do you sharpen G10?
  7. I don't see how this looks much different than a T-1? I'll buy Trijicon over anything else every single day.
  8. What kinda stock-ish buffer tube attachment thing is that?
  9. I really like these new gray frames, looks good.
  10. I fully agree with you. One would have to go back to pre 1900 ish to escape to lack of freedom we have today.
  11. Nowhere is even close. I'll ride out the storm. Or fight it out if need be.
  12. America is the world police ya know...
  13. Hey, as long as you're not packing a revolver, you're good to go :)
  14. I haven't had a MOD2 but have had 3 different XD45s and one XDM9. Excellent guns never had a problem. Somehow I always keep going back to a XD45, maybe I should just keep one lol
  15. No you can not have it registered as both. However you don't need to. AOW means it was manufactured from a receiver that never had a stock and can never have one. SBS means it was manufactured from a firearm that may or may not have a shoulder stock on it. SBS allows you the flexibility of either configuration If it has already been manufactured, you can't change how it is registered on the NFA list. It is what it is. If it's an AOW, it can never have a stock. If it's a SBS, you can't change it to an AOW for the cheap $5 transfer fee.
  16. I have a mini Griptilian. Don't carry it anymore since I got my protech though. First let me say that for me, aside from a few, my knives are tools. And I am HARD on my tools. I have never had a problem at all with my Benchmade and I thoroughly abused mine. I thought Spyderco was about the same quality as Benchmade.
  17. Whoever is in control of the crazy, could you please dial it back just a tad? Too much crazy happening all at once.
  18. I don't know of anyone specific but try Nashville armory. I'm sure they have a HCP class and likely some basic defensive classes. They will also have the best selection of firearms in stock as well.
  19. Sounds like he needs to hire some armed trained security. If cost is no object for a carry gun, either custom 1911 or HK with trigger work. Same will work for a nightstand gun. But he is going to need extensive training and a carbine to go against multiple armed assailants.
  20. How about shoot, shovel, and shut up?
  21. Best thing about Fords, they circled the problem. JK, get used to the Ford vs Chevy, it's almost as bad as South vs North.
  22. This thread has to be the biggest combination of ridiculousness and valuable information yet.
  23. Nice! A G19 and G43 is about the perfect carry gun combination. I've really been looking at the 43 myself
