  1. It's about time for the Kriss vector 9mm. I'm liking that Sphinx pistol as well. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to put hands on the new Desert Eagles and the Heizer .45 semi. Not take home mind you, just see in person.
  2. Luckily the aftermarket can make loud and proud as well as smoke the way it was intended.
  3. They are using an Aisin 6 speed trans. Should be a good transmission. I hope it does phenomenal in sales so it will push GM to bring back the 4.5L Duramax, which it has already been hinted at by GM executives that they will see how the market reacts but are considering a 1/2ton 4.5L Duramax. Ford has their ghey EcoBoost, Dodge has their v6 ecodiesel, now Nissan has a Cummins. It's time for GM to bring the 4.5L "baby dmax" to production.
  4. Same here. Nashville must be getting pretty rough these days...
  5. Could not have said it better!
  6. Looks like a .30-32 cal bullet. And that's a significant bottleneck with a sharp shoulder. Not to mention being a rimmed bottleneck cartridge that short, rare indeed. This is something very old. That's a true rimmed case not the semi rimmed .32acp style.
  7. No experience but that looks nice. I would turn it around though, seems awkward if you were laying in bed, but I'm sure it's just pointed that way for the video.
  8. Do you have calipers to measure the bullet diameter? What does the headstamp say?
  9. That's a whole lot of venison he let run off...
  10. Wow, sounds like quite an experience with your bank. I bank at Ascend FCU. They locked my card due to a suspicious transaction before I had even noticed it. Less than 24 hrs after it happened. They called me to authorize it, I did not. They permanently locked my card, this was on Sunday. Monday morning I went to the bank and signed one form and one log book (I believe it was a notary book) had my refund deposited in my account in less than 24hrs after that. They handled the investigation and all that. Pretty simple. I have no problem with PayPal either aside from my perceived policies, which turns out I am wrong about.
  11. Maybe I have been given bad information over the years. When buying gun parts both on here and GOC, I have had the seller tell me to either do a gift or put that it's for a video game or something less controversial. Otherwise PayPal might delete both our accounts. I can fully understand not wanting to get involved in regulated merchandise.
  12. Glock is out not only for the finger grooves but the ambi mag release as well. They tried it on a version of the Gen3 21 and never could get it to work reliably. And who makes a striker fired pistol with a decocker anyways?
  13. Vp9 has finger grooves, maybe not as pronounced as a Glock but it still has them
  14. I voted no preference. It's not a huge issue to me but as long as it was just as simple to use as PayPal, I'm for it. It would be nice to be able to not support PayPal as they don't support us (anti gun policies)
  15. I'm not saying most, but a certain percentage of them are not anti gun period, just anti you mere civilian having a gun. And then there are some that really are anti gun and they don't even like carrying one but it's their job. And then the rest are normal folk. :)
  16. I really want a shirt that has a logo like at the end "Straight outta 1776"
  17. I had owned just cheap gerbers and kershaws before, cheap Walmart knives. After that smith I was a bit aggravated, so I went to Bass Pro and dropped right at $100 on a Benchmade Mini Griptilian. Best knife purchase made to date, that is one tough knife and I learned later that the Axis lock is one of if not THE best in the industry. Plus now you can get a Griptilian or Mini Griptilian with a S30V blade and the color of scales you want. There are also aftermarket parts made for them as they are so popular, clips, hardware, custom scales, custom blades, etc.
  18. In Smyrna you can get a ticket and go to driving school once a year and nothing ever goes on your record. Unless I'm mistaken Smyrna city runs the school, it's held at the police station, so they make their money regardless.
  19. TRP or Dan Wesson IMO. I won't buy a S&W 1911 for 2 reasons, may be a non issue to you but it's my opinion. 1 is that it has an external extractor, the original worked fine with an internal, why change? The second is those fish gill looking wavy slide serrations, I can't stand them. Both the TRP and any Dan Wesson are recognized as very high quality 1911s. I would probably lean towards the TRP for no particular reason.
  20. If he had the patent before he approached all the scope manufacturers, which he should have, he should be able to very easily sue them for patent infringement, correct? I do agree that is some shady business practices.
  21. Care to elaborate? Only thing I'm aware of is they had biblical scripture codes on their products and they told the government to pound sand when they told them they had to remove them from military gear. Trijicon didn't take any government grants to develop their optics or other products, they did the R&D on their own dime, the government just thought it was a good product so they bought it for the military. Government had no right to make them remove it so they didn't. Their response was if you don't like our product, don't buy it.
  22. My opinion is is would want a 3.5 moa on a pistol and a 6.5moa on a shotgun to see better and faster yet just a touch less precise than the 3.5moa. I can't see any instance I would want the 1 moa version.
  23. I think I would want a 6.5MOA on a shotgun. This is the best mount I have found. https://scalarworks.com/optic-mounts/bor-rmr/
  24. Dave, I don't remember the model but it was a S&W knife I bought at Tractor Supply a few years ago. IIRC, it was around $45-50. At the time It was about the most I wanted to spend on a knife, it looked cool, and I thought being S&W it would be a good quality knife. I was wrong. Within a month of carrying it and honestly not using it much, the blade had so much side to side play it was unusable to cut much of anything with, it had loosened up that much. I hope you have better luck with yours, maybe you got a better model that mine.
