As a former residential/commercial electrician, I have to say fluke as well. I've had good luck with Greenlee as well but not in a multimeter, only other testing instruments.

It depends on what gauge the wire is that the circuit is run with. A 14 gauge wire can only handle a 15 amp breaker. 12 gauge is good for 20amps and a 30 amp breaker would need 10gauge wire. Otherwise you would be overloading the wire and risk it overheating and possibly catching on fire. Keep in mind most homes are built with the average homeowner in mind, which is to say, most people use their garage to store vehicles in not work. At least nowadays. Obviously you are overloading the circuit. Every time you trip the breaker it makes it weaker. Best answer is to add a nother circuit and split off half of your plugs on the new circuit.

Don't get a Jasper reman I have a Jasper reman transfer case in the same truck. And it hasn't worked since it was installed. I got to searching online and the main reason Jasper has a warranty on their stuff is that you need it. They use super cheap parts and factor in the fact they will likely have to replace it before the warranty is up. Get one from a junkyard, sad that used is better than reman... Or buy a brand new one. But I would have a mechanic do it.

I wouldn't do it. That's a small tire, can't be too expensive. From the size, it sounds like it's a FWD car, I'd at the very least move it to the back. I build tires for a living. There isn't what is commonly called belts behind the sidewalk, but there is what is called body ply and it has parallel steel wires running from the bead up the sidewall across the tread back down the sidewall to the other side to the other bead. But if it had gotten down to that, it would have already blown. Knowing how it is built, I'd replace it now.

Honestly I believe it has much more to do with the regulations from untold number of government agencies with MASSIVE fines. The increased amount of transporting product helps balance out the price of cheap foreign labor. And the farther away it is, the more it balances out.

My personal opinion, level it out to where the front is the same exact heighg(within a half inch or so). Then fit as big of a tire as you can fit without it rubbing. Most times you can fit a bigger tire with factory offset wheels than aftermarket wheels. You likely can't fit a smaller wheel due to brake clearances. A nice A/T like a Nitto Terra Grappler would look great on there. If you have much of an overall tire diameter change, your speedometer and odometer will be off a little. A programmer can fix that as well as give you more performance and better mileage. They can be removed for warranty work as well.

My experience is that what works best differs wildly depending on the interior or your truck or car. I currently have a 02 Sierra with the split bench seat in front. A full size tucked between the drivers and center seat is pretty secure. Not like a holster, but works. And it's mostly out of sight, tinted windows help. I have wanted to fab up a mount for a Kydex holster to mount to the lower dash, but never got around to it.

I meant for a given range with .308win, the blackout will have the same amount of drop 275 yards closer. So max effective range is 1000 for .308, then it's 725 for blackout. I read an article of someone(TTAG?) using a 16" blackout carbine and consistently making hits on steel at 1000 yards with 123gr FMJ. It can be done. Blackout isn't worthless or immediately ineffective after 200yards. It's a great little round and not just a one trick pony. It's actually quite versatile.

I believe it was dolomite that posted in one thread that the blackout was 80% of the .308win. Something around -275 yd effective range vs the Winchester. I also recall him mentioning working up some 168-175gr long range supersonic loads to see what could be done.

I have never heard of a 7.62x39 AR mag over 10 rounds that feeds reliably. For cheap ammo, it doesn't get cheaper or close really that 7.62x39 or 5.56. Aside from .308 surplus I don't think there is an answer to your question of cheap ammo and sufficient punch without reloading in the AR platform. Maybe look at one of the new ARs out that take AK mags? Hunting rifles usually don't have very many rounds put through them at all really. Right tool for the job and all that ;)

Yep, so proprietary in fact that Armalite themselves make two versions of their rifles. The version which takes Armalite mags and the one that takes SR-25 mags. SR -25 has pretty much become the 308 AR standard for magazines. It's the style that Magpul makes PMAGs for.

If no budget, Schmidt & Bender Short dot 1-8x. 1x is an true 1x and acts like a red dot as the scope is illuminated or crank it up to 8x for precision shots. Or a quality scope with a mini red dot on a 45 degree mount I like the concept of the new Leupold HAMR but haven't seen one in person yet. Or use a 3 or 4x ACOG with BAC (Bindon Aiming Concept)

I think Pythons are like S&W Registered Magnums, although much more plentiful, in the fact that they are known to be top quality handmade revolvers and those that can afford them will pay it. I don't think the prices will ever come down. They will rise just like machine guns because colt will never make them like this again even at today's prices they are still a worthwhile investment.

Before Keymod and MLOK came to be, I was looking at replacing my A2 hand guard with one of those 3 gun style slick hand guards that you could bolt a 2" piece of pic rail up front for a light and that's it because I hated quad rails. And then Keymod came out and that's what all the cool kids have so...

Wikipedia says the speed six was available in the same barrel lengths as the security six. I looked quick and didn't see one listed online in 6". I've never seen a speed six in person either. All the security/speed/service sixes are rising in price approaching S&W prices. You might be just as well off finding a S&W .38spl revolver Model 10 or similar.
