  1. Is that what was in Jenny's case?
  2. Essentially Offroad in Murfreesboro. Several member here have had work done there. Magnuson-Moss Act says that for the dealer to deny a warranty claim, they have to prove that your modifications were the direct cause of failure. They can't blame your lift for your power window regulator going bad, etc.
  3. I had an electric 1/2" drill I bought because the guys kept complaining about those the Milwaukee was too heavy carrying around and drilling over their head... Best I remember it was only around $30-40. All it ever had in the chuck was a 7/8" auger bit for wood. I was an electrical contractor. It never died. Used nearly constantly, literally for 8-10hrs straight once or twice a week. Sometimes outside in the rain or in extreme temperatures. Doesn't get used much anymore. I personally used the Milwaukee, the HF felt like a toy with a motor bolted on one end.
  4. I don't own one but did a bit of research on them awhile back. From what I found out, they were 1892 clone but with a higher quality fit and finish than a Winchester. And for at least part of the time they were made, Winchester wasn't making a 1892, so they were what you got if you wanted a new 1892. I think for a few years they made a .45Colt version as well as the .44 and .357 models.
  5. I like it! I don't see what's wrong with the mag pouches, looks fine to me.
  6. I fully agree. I am not a father, but there is nothing in this world more heinous than someone who would harm a child. I would happily give or risk life or limb to save a child I don't even know or to bring either hell on earth or eternal hell to anyone who would harm a child. I also fear for the day this exact type of behavior shows up on our soil. I have heard it said that ISIS plans to attack our schools. I can only pray that God intervenes somehow. I am not a soldier or member of law enforcement either. Doesn't matter. Someone once said( can't remember who, but it is quoted often) "All that is necessary for evil to succeed, is for good men to do nothing" As good men, when evil comes our way we must take a stand. I know many of this forum will do just that. We must remain vigilant. I fear the time is coming very soon.
  7. It's almost as much fun to mix a bowl of M&Ms, Reese's pieces, and Skittles and maybe some sour skittles together and watch people's faces. :)
  8. Well, to be fair, this is a very polarizing topic. I won't say how I feel on it, I don't want to get banned.
  9. I'm sure he would for a $10k+ sale. I have heard the same thing though.
  10. The vid I saw also covered him trying to draw while moving backwards. All it did was lead to a physical scuffle where he was trying to do two things at once and not succeeding at either one.
  11. I'm thinking a XP100 would be better.
  12. I saw a video demonstration on this. It had a veteran street cop vs your standard street thug with what looked like a 3-4" fixed blade. The cop was already alert to him and still could not draw his sidearm until the thug started at around 21 ft away. Any closer and he had a knife in his chest before he cleared his holster. It was to demonstrate that any closer than 21 ft it is better to use hand to hand techniques than try to employ a firearm.
  13. I laughed way harder and longer than I should have at that.
  14. My buddies dad owns a gun shop. He said by law he has to have trigger locks available to give to anyone who buys a gun and wants one for free. I'm assuming this is mostly for used guns as most all new guns come with them. But he has a big box of them in the back simply because he has to.
  15. Yeah, that looks waaaay too inconsistent to me. Not to mention if you got into a physical confrontation where your assailant tried to take your gun away, which is very possible a .380 pocket pistol ranges. The only time I have seen something look like it works with the gun holster and mag holder together is appendix carry, and then they both are very near 12:00. If it works for you, great. But I just don't see it.
  16. Eh, like Chucktshoes (I believe?) said, and I agree with, if I'm not on at least a couple government watchlists, someone at the NSA isn't doing their job.
  17. Someone just got recognized on another watch list... And not the OP either.
  18. Yeah and ATF squashed it before it could even make it to production. Sure was cool looking though
  19. Time is chasing you... :) I find running to be relaxing and a stress relief. As long as it's outside. Inside on a treadmill, I don't much care for.
  20. I tried to talk him into NiB (nickel boron). Np3 is another option but he seems pretty set on TiNi. I think part of it is just that it's gold looking.
  21. Is there anywhere local to middle TN that does Titanium Nitride coating? I have a buddy wanting his AR bolt done in it. If not, anyone have a recommendation of a place to send it to to have it done?
  22. We need more Dexters in the world...
  23. The one I have always heard is " There is not one problem in this world that cannot be solved with a sufficient amount of money or high explosives."
  24. We need a few more like him. Actually, I'm thinking we need someone like him as head over the justice department.
