  1. I use it but mostly just to look at pics of custom polymer pistols that are on Instagram but not on their website...
  2. I was never as brave as those students, I was too worried about getting a whooping when I got home if I had done any of that...
  3. That and Pinterest and Tumblr and Instagram and ...
  4. Look into .224BOZ. I know it died quickly, not sure why, but it was a 10mm necked down to take a .224 bullet.
  5. I haven't even shot one but they make a bolt action sporter type rifle. Velocity is supposed to be 2100fps from the 1911 and 2800fps from the rifle. Both with a 40gr JHP.
  6. I'd rather spend $200 on ammo for a 1911 or even a Glock
  7. Not many places will finance motor swaps ;)
  8. I would like to see what is basically a 7.62x25 that is just short enough to work in a 10mm length magazine. Essentially a 10mm necked down to .30cal
  9. Is the cartridge short enough to fit in a 9mm or even a .45/10mm length magazine? I know neither 5.7 or 7.62x25 is. Edit: 4.6x30mmHK has an OAL of 1.516 according to Wikipedia. 10mm has an OAL of 1.260. I don't think it will physically fit in the magazine.
  10. If 30mpg isn't cutting it , I don't know what to tell you. Especially as a big guy. I'm 6'5" and I simply don't fit in economy cars. And my comfort is worth quite a bit to me. I only get around 15-17 is my Sierra right now. If I had to get something with better mileage, it would be either the new Colorado, or a Duramax with a programmer. They get 25mpg hwy with 600+ftlbs and absolute comfort. Plus 4x4 if you need it. If you need over 30mpg, you need to be looking at a bike.
  11. I watched it, then watched a related one detailing how he spent over 6 months training for the first John Wick. From driver training to martial arts and fighting choreography to the shooting training. Showed how it was actually him doing most of the stuff in the movie. He will keep it up to show how dedicated he is to getting his role right and accurate in the films he does. Which means more roles which means more money. We all know how Bradley Cooper recently came out as anti gun as part of the form letter sent of by the White House. He trained at Gunsite and other places in preparation for his role in American Sniper to make sure he got it right. Some actors I would classify as good people, others I wouldn't. In the end, the are merely entertainers and doing it for the money, nothing more.
  12. You really couldn't lose on this one and that is one fine weapon you picked up there!
  13. There is already a sticker at least around here detailing how much money from a gallon of gas goes to federal, state and local taxes.
  14. I'm pretty sure I saw the guy in the first picture at Walmart.
  15. I take it no one except OhShoot has seen Sharknado?
  16. I'll let him answer for sure, but I would assume that it was ordered that way. That is a Cooper rifle, custom made.
  17. Making a Glock look sexy, it would take a WHOLE lot to do that, and I'm not sure she is enough.
  18. I don't know, that's kinda pushing it a little don't ya think?
  19. Short hair and a courteous demeanor is a lot of it. Never been asked if I'm a cop but I've been asked and assumed that I am military numerous times, even by people in the military.
  20. Probably not what you are looking for but there is the STI Perfect 10 and the Dan Wesson Titan
  21. What are you looking to do with it? Concealed carry? OWB carry? Range Gun? Something else? I wouldn't consider a double stack 1911 to be a good CCW but you mentioned weight being a concern.
  22. So are you looking for a double stack 10mm 1911? Standard single stack capacity is 9+1.
