  1. same rules as if you were buying bubble gum from someone, make sure its what you want, and swap money for product and go on your way
  2. simple/easy. the government really shouldnt put a restriction on us to be able to carry but i do think that they should be able to operate the firearm and know all functions. i.e. know how the safety works, know how hard sights work, how magazine release and slide release works, how to clear a jam in a semi auto
  3. restraunts parks posted public buildings schools actually anywhere that it is prohibited
  4. i will NEVER shoot .40S&W or 9mm. .357sig is the only conversion i would ever use in it. i figure if i can get someone to trade me straight up i wont be out any money and ill have the caliber i want.
  5. yea, id suggest the 16" barrel and standard(carbine) length handguards
  6. that is GREAT! good to be able to tell someone else about it and they actually think about it
  7. sounds like you are going to need to get a base model AR in A3 configuration(flat top) and add your stock, grip, and handguard. are you wanting a barrel that extends that far past the longer handguards like the one pictured? that is a 20" barrel pictured, most common one is a 16" on a standard M4 the AR would be the perfect platform to put that ACOG on....
  8. that is a S&W M&P15. are you wanting to stay with 5.56mm? sounds like this is going to be target/benchrest shooter only? no home defense or tacticool toys? that looks to be an 18"-22" barrel i can say that i have NEVER heard of a "M4 barrel" rotating every shot....
  9. yea, i said in my original post that i had to get rid of it because of the caliber. the real reason i got it is i traded my 1895 levergun in .45-70 +cash for it. i know the glock will be MUCH easier to sell/trade than that .45/70. i had a little .40 ammo i wanted to shoot up and wanted to see if i could like the glock subcompact platform, i just dont like .40. i'll stick with .45acp, 10mm, and .357sig for semi autos. id be happy to trade for a G30SF, G33, or G29. absolutely nothing wrong with it at all, just the wrong caliber for me
  10. no, i do not. just a site i had bookmarked. i will probably be getting a gunvault like TDR posted and bolting it to the floor of my truck tool box.
  11. i can still hit better with my xd-45 than with this. i'll never be glock exclusive, i'll always have a few others
  12. my pockets arent THAT big, i said carrying the G27 in my pocket. i wouldnt actually carry it there just kinda amazed me it would fit in there its so small. only way id carry in the back pocket is in a holster, like a keltec or ruger lcp or the like, still not for sure. I heard the darkside had cookies, I never pass up on free cookies. the previous owner colored in the lettering, i personally wouldnt have done it, i like the all black look.
  13. i might would carry it but i have to wait about another 10months to send in my paperwork(age requirement). really though ill probably carry my xd-45 service since i can completely conceal it just by tucking it in my pants, no holster with only a tshirt. this g27 is MUCH more concealable though
  14. just picked up a G27. i never thought id ever like a glock but the subcompacts sure do feel ALOT different to me than a fullsize does, balance wise. i really like it, to bad i have to get rid of it since its not one of my calibers of choice. i think ill get a G33 sometime though, very nice and very concealable, heck with the standard mag i can conceal it in my backpocket. i just might have to try a G36 too.
  15. i was not aware of that. thanks for correcting me
  16. the appraiser didnt even get the gun model number right, called it a 911A 45 pistol
  17. nightrunner

    My new toy!!!

nice gun! btw, if im not mistaken, the ATF says no vertical foregrips on pistols.
  18. i dont think they actually allow it but since its concealed, they dont know...
  19. im willing to bet that the security/administration there wont care how you got in there, just about how quickly they want you to disarm and leave the premises
  20. let me ask this, what are the good quality AKs? like for ARs you have S&W, Rock river, bushmaster, etc. not counting the custom built rifles. the saiga is a possibility, but it will have to be converted first.
  21. i use walmart federal 550rd. bulk packs, last time i bought any it was 8.88 i think its over $12 now
  22. if it got within approx. 7-10 feet of my i would shoot. I absolutely will not be mauled by a dog if i can prevent it in any way. and having a wife and child with me would make me more likely to shoot quicker
  23. are you going to be using it for open carry or under a cover garment? just wondering
