  1. i will say that i havent found WWB 100-round packs anywhere but walmart
  2. i love the AR platform and it'd be great to get an upper to swap over for the .458socom. i had a .45/70 lever action and loved it but the tactical rifle sounds fun
  3. sounds like its one of those "gotta have it" type things huh?
  4. so how is the .458socom?
  5. my only problem with walmart is they dont have .357sig ammo . i know for example on firearms, they have a walmart exclusive 10-22 that is a lower end rifle and exclusive to walmart
  6. you could get a ls1 and 60e cheaper than $3000 easily. but im sure it would nickel and dime you to death getting everything hooked up in the nova
  7. nightrunner

    Glock 30 sf

id love to get my hands on one.
  8. i take it you already have the motor? i just typed it wrong i know about the TPI, 2nd gen motor style from gm. there is much more parts for the 3rd gen, ls1 motors than the 2nd gen and they make more power with better fuel economy, check out ls1tech . com for info on the 3rd gen motors guys making 500rwhp and getting 25mpghwy, in a latemodel camaro but its just an example
  9. i like them but i really dont have the money to put into one. may i ask why you are going TBI on it? personally i would either stay carb'd to keep the classic style or go with a MPFI for an update. like a LS1 or similar motor
  10. enfield, you werent born here were you?
  11. im referring to the original question in the original post
  12. are we talking about .410s in a .45colt or a .45/70 govt. ? 2 VERY different guns
  13. i never tried because i never got a definite answer. i heard that they could be used in a pinch, for say survival purposes if thats all you had, but over time they would mess up the rifling in the barrel
  14. thanks for that site. i looked and never could find it. i LOVE that side holster for it! that with the coachgun III duo-tone is a true tactical shotgun lol!
  15. true, i gues what i meant was that no pistol caliber can knock a man to the ground with one shot. when you shoot him he may not choose to try to stand and fall down but the sheer force for the bullet wont knock him down
  16. i looked and at midway, ammo is about the same price as .45acp, maybe just a hair higher. i know that no pistol caliber can give a one shot kill or knock a man down, just by shooting him with it. the hottest factory loads in a 10mm would be the closest thing(loaded to near .41mag specs) and i doubt it would have a "knockdown" factor to it.
  17. i thought that belonged on the list of things you'll never hear a straight man say
  18. yes, a SBS only and as far as i know, NOBODY makes one like it. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6701 thats a thread i started about one but decided i need a few other guns before i get it, i still want one though
  19. the serbu super shorty can be registered as either a SBS or a AOW
  20. did you mix up the ammo or was it like that from remington? glad you like it.
  21. .357 is a smaller bullet that travels faster, shoots flatter. .357 will penetrate better( think objects not human tissue). it is the semi-auto cartridge that is the equivalent of .357magnum. i hear it recoils like a .45acp, i like recoil, to an extent. not real sure, just something about the cartridge that intrigues me. i dont like .40 for the fact that in semiautos, 9mm, .40S&W, and .45acp are the top three players. i choose the biggest one, .45acp for my primary carry weapon. .357sig and 10mm are specialty cartridges IMO, 10mm is the hottest semiauto cartridge out there, can be loaded to very near .41mag specs. and .357sig is highly penetrable, shoots VERY flat. .40 is a 10mm, downloaded for those who dont like the recoil of a 10mm. but since then it has taken off .40 guns are smaller than 10mm guns and have larger capacity usually.
  22. if i were you id see what joe or dan can hook you up with down in winchester
  23. i hear them go either way, discussing the chrome lined barrel i would prefer it but i would not turn down a good deal depending on that feature only
  24. the only place i have seen .223wylde is on rock river arms website, it explains that it allows .223 and 5.56x45mm to be used in that chamber. 5.56mm can also shoot .223. i think that .223 chambers can only fire .223 and not 5.56x45mm or rather that it is not reccommended as the chamber is nto supported sufficiently for 5.56mm as 5.56 is basically just a higher pressure .223
  25. that silhouette guy on the backstop, i hear he has some close calls every now and then....
