  1. have you read the actual HR1022 bill ( new asssault weapons ban)? lots more than just hi-cap magazines in there. just the color black makes a rifle an assault rifle(slight exaggeration, not much though)
  2. i say get a budget AR, high quality but without quad rails and accessories, just the standard A4 style.with flipup iron sights. then get a budget AK , then upgrade as funds become available. i reallly like the AR for the adaptability. you can get uppers from .22LR to 9mm to .45acp to 5.56nato to 7.62x39 to .458socom to .50bmg and everything inbetween. you can deck them out to be a precision sniper rifle or a close-quarters combat rifle or even in a pinch( think SHTF and no laws) convert to a pistol for concealibility, pistol lower and 6" upper. one thing about it, whichever one you choose, there wont be a shortage of mags for awhile, and if SHTF, you can always find ammo and mags for either one.

    This is WILD!!

ive seen it before. its not legal for importation to the US
  4. no matter who they are they should have to be qualified and competent with their weapons.
  5. it will work upside down, with it curved away from the grip but not backwards or upside down backwards with it curved towards the grip.
  6. have you tried this? i did and it flat doesnt work
  7. i dont see how it is possible. there is a channel in the rear of the magwell and a full-length notch on the rear of the magazine casing for it to fit, like i said you can insert it upside down but not backwards, id be afraid id crack the magwell or bust the magazine. you would HAVE to know that it was wrong when you went to put it in anyways. i still stand by the fact that it is still waaaaaayyyyy too long for a standard ar mag
  8. after closely examining the picture myself and looking at my AR here, first off, you CAN insert a steel AR mag(not polymer) in upside down but NOT backwards to where it curves toward to pistol grip. secondly, unless that is an approx. 50-60 round stick mag, its two taped together because it hangs down WAAAAAAYYYY too low for a standard 30-rounder GI-issue mag
  9. No, an AR mag will not go in upside down. this was posted before on here and it was decided that it was a photoshop
  10. well, im working on ultimate order, lol nice pics, get it refinished and it'll be a whole new gun.
  11. you could use fireproof sheetrock and fire-rated caulking at all joints. that is what is used to fireproof between the mulit-unit condo buildings (as per fire code) that i work in sometimes. and anytime we penetrate the wall, you must caulk around it with fire-rated caulking. not sure how long its good for though. you'd also need some sort of fire rated door.
  12. what the hell the GD germans got to do with it?!
  13. i personally would be hiking without some sort of defense, so id just go with, "its easier to ask forgiveness than to get permission."
  14. the only compromise i would make is no open carry INSIDE THE RESTRAUNT, only concealed. but then again i see no reason to do that.
  15. him and Joe@HeorGear and i think someone else
  16. not that im going to get into it, but he was driving that car when he died so its not a murder. they call them accidents for a reason. but yes nascar has gone downhill fast in the last several years
  17. from what reading ive done, the CMC trigger is fine for a range gun, where it wont be a BIG problem if it breaks, but not good for a battle rifle. go with the RRA trigger for a battle rifle. just from some various reading ive done, no experience
  18. DirecTV HotPass is very nice.
  19. where are the durn pics at ?
  20. he got put on vacation from the site for a week, the 9th will have been 7 days
  21. i would LOVE to find one of those, although id only put it in a range toy. id hate to see what a prosecutor could convince a jury of with that.
