  1. i cant believe you actually looked at the picture long enough to figure that out....
  2. actually since they did the transfer, they have to keep record of it forever, and if the atf comes knocking they have to have proof of it
  3. yea but you actually have to interact with him. id rather pay $25 somewhere else
  4. i wonder who will use it for practice for the real thing, oh wait did i just type that outloud...
  5. im really enjoying you guys having threads on building these. really interesting seeing what options you choose etc. i plan on building one up but it may be a while, still great to watch the build
  6. yea just saw they are coming out in OD green when i checked the website after i posted. i have given up on guys on LSN using proper terminology or even common gun knowledge
  7. even better since you can bring your own food, if you are discreet. easier to hide food in your car than on your person.
  8. 30-round AR mags and 13-round XD-45 mags and 25-round 10-22 mags also see my avatar

    any H&k guys?

had a USP in .40 but it just didnt cut it for me, would have probably kept it if it was a .45
  10. thats what i thought, i was pretty sure they hadnt released a .45 acp version and was almost certain they didnt have a tactical model as the XDM has a 4.5" barrel for an in between the service and tactical model in the XD line
  11. connery then brosnan for me havent seen the new ones with craig
  12. has springfield released the XDM in .45acp? reason i ask is this ad has a pic of a XDM but in .45. but im thinking its just a standard XD http://www.golsn.com/listings/outdoor_adventure/firearms/494683.html
  13. i want to work my way up. first i have my 5.56mm, next is a medium caliber, either 6.8SPC or 7.62x39mm, then its time for a big bore, .458socom.
  14. i think when i was there they had some FN handguns in there but that was before the FNP's came out. their service absolutely sucks, the pawn shops i go to are better than they are, onyl difference in the gun shop actually does clear the weapon before handing it to you, the pawn shop just gives you a gun with a magazine in it to look at and then walks off it hasnt been but about 1month now that they have even been open on saturday and its only 1/2 a day then.
  15. dont really care if i have to special order in online, just what is available
  16. i cant imagine why they would have class 3 stuff there the only thing they have in stock is a few glocks. heck i bet their front area for their gun shop isnt big enough to cram in maybe 10 people
  17. you wouldnt happen to actually have the setup in your avatar would you? that would work great
  18. yep, the one with security training in the back.
  19. i was almost certain the 6.8 had the advantage in ballistics. i am talking about factory loaded ammo here, not handloads or reloads
  20. what would be a better medium caliber choice for an AR? 6.8x43mmSPC or 7.62x39mm? which one has better self-defense ammo? forget the magazine choices and the fact that surplus 7.62 is dirtier than 6.8 or that 7.62 is cheaper than 6.8 or anything else. just ammo thanks
  21. i only do business with one gun shop anymore, my other local gunshop has maybe 30 total guns in stock and treat you like its a privelege for you to be able to walk in their establishment(tullahoma). and the local pawnshop/gunshop has very high prices(manchester). for me there is a very fine line between the employees being very aggravating by asking me constantly "can i help you". and not acknowledging me. i only want to be asked if i need help 1) when i first walk through the door, and 2) when i come to the counter(s), i dont need someone looking over my shoulder, and waiting to ask if i need help everytime i pick up a gun. i would really like to see more guns in the open to pick up and hold and see how they fit your hand
