  1. actually i was asking for my father as he wants to monitor his daughter's car, that he owns. so that is legal, right?
  2. because the two battle rifles are the ar and ak variants. you have at least one AR, now get an AK, if SHTF you have the two main battle rifles and can use mags, ammo and other parts from those rifles if need be
  3. id take one id be interested in different calibers... what would be cool though is if it had a bullet that screwed off of it, kinda like this http://www.technoframes.com/categorie.php?pn_id_categoria=1 check the replica ammunition section
  4. could someone please tell me where i could find a gps tracking unit setup? i need to track a vehicle, discretely. needs to be as inexpensive as possible but be good quality. also has to be able to be attached to vehicle very quickly
  5. be aware of the p345, it cant be carried cocked and locked, but other than that it will shoot anything you feed it, however i dont really consider it compact. i think either a xd-45C or a Hk45c would be great but they are both plastic. might look at the kinber ultra rcp II
  6. meh, i was looking for some +P+ .500mag if they have it...
  7. yep, like said above, a tactical shotgun would need a black synthetic stock, preferrably a pistol grip, or speed-feed, or m4-style; side saddle shell holder; 18-22" barrel depending on the size of magazine tube extension; magazine tube extension; possibly some better hard sights, ghost ring or rifle sights; possibly mount a picatinny rail and add a red-dot or holographic sight; possibly add a sling; maybe even mount a quad-rail on the forend and then add vertical foregrip, light, laser, etc. that should get it classified as tactical.
  8. if im not mistaken he stated that he would have a shotgun and handguns anyways, and just wanted suggestions on a long gun that would be used to get to the rest of them.
  9. i dont know whether to say you are a bigger man than i am or just more controlled, because i dont believe that i could have contained myself after the last names that were mentioned.
  10. yes but he said he would use it to get to his other guns and for that purpose nothing but a high-capacity rifle will do the job as well as any other option
  11. if you will have a shotgun already, definetely the AR. but id also want a pistol for a 3-gun trio. personally if i was limited to a rifle, shottie, and pistol id have a 870, AR-15, and 1911
  12. i saw it, i thought it was a great movie. great plot.

  14. technically the law says it is perfectly legal. as it is a handgun and covered under the handgun carry permit. but an officer could get you for something like inciting a panic or disturbing the peace or something along those lines. also it may be hard to convince some cops that it is legal.
  15. i know 100% that if it was built as a SBS that it would be illegal but not for suer on a AOW. i am pretty sure that unless it is registered as a pistol, it cant be carried by a HCP. for example a AR pistol could be carried under the HCP but not a SBR
  16. when i was researching good 9mm loads they were the hottest i could find, let me know how you like them
  17. i think crossbows are illegal to hunt with in Tn unless you are handicapped
  18. x2
  19. i know that the .38super in 1911 would be a great gaming pistol, if i was into that, but im not. so i guess ill drop the idea if its not a viable self-defense round
  20. two completely different guns but i would probably go with the 1911 as a glock just doesnt fit my hand at all. also the glock can accept higher capacity mags. 1911 isnt very high capacity. the 1911 is more expensive but i believe a finer handgun. both have extensive modifications available to them. personally id probably go with the 1911 simply because they fit my hand better. have you held one of these 1911s? the scandium frame is kinda weird, it looks like steel but when you pick it up its amazingly light, just doesnt seem right, but i bet its great for all day carry
  21. are fanny packs still gay? YES can a man wear one without looking gay? NO, chuck norris just proved that. more to the point, with warmer weather and lighter clothes, if you just cant carry a normal carry gun IWB under a t-shirt or something, dont see why but ok. what is wrong with a j-frame snubbie or a small .380 (P3AT or LCP) in the pocket or even in a very small IWB holster. even a maxpedition carry bag is better than a fanny pack. or they make normal sized day-planners that have a zippered half of it that conceals and holsters a fullsized gun like a 5" 1911 or a G21.
  22. how does .357sig compare to .38 super? the reason i ask is that i know that .357sig is a great self defense round but i dont know about .38super. i was looking for a 1911 in .38super and cant find one at all, and even more important no one makes a magazine for it. i know that .38super was developed primarily as a gaming round but does it have a place as a self defense round
