  1. same user name that he HAD on here. he was banned a while back edit: banned 06/2008
  2. to be completely honest about the situation, just from my experiences with him on this forum, he is very irritating and i dont like even hearing about him. BUT, in all honesty i dont blame him for it, would i do it if i had the money, probably not, closest thing would be buy a bunch and sell it to a buddy that asked me to pick it up or him if i saw some and sell it to him for cost. granted i dont like the fact that he is buying up all the ammo around here and selling it for a profit to others. but its not illegal what he's doing. and as a side note, i think i remember him saying back when he was on the forums here that he was on disability.
  3. +1, ive bought stuff from another individual before with paypal and had to say that the payment was for a video game or something(me and the seller agreed on it in PMs before payment was sent).
  4. i have finally are SEVERAL months convinced my dad to get his but he will have to wait until he gets his eyes fixed (cataracts +?) as he cant even the the target clearly at 15 yards. i have almost convinced my mom to get one too for when she walks in the park alone. oh, and i took my course this past saturday
  5. so you plan on carrying a compensated/ported G22? cant say that i agree but if it works great, just expect night blindness
  6. i think you did what any alert man would do given those circumstances. remember guys he didnt pull his gun, but was really close. be honest, if someone suspicious is running toward you in a parking lot of a conveniece store/gas station, are you telling me that you would not put your hand on your gun IN PREPARATION to draw if necessary. i know i would.
  7. store 3 wasnt in tullahoma was it? also curious to what it was, but yea joe and dan at herogear are awesome
  8. i have heard that they have corrected their quality issues but the earlier ones had problems with the receivers cracking
  9. i absolutely HATE the new system. about the only thing i really like about it is that it has its own link at the top of the page along with the "new posts" etc. other than that i would love to see the forum format back
  10. this is interesting, i have heard that a .357mag jframe is rather punishing recoil-wise. good to hear first hand that its not.
  11. i looked and didnt see what i was looking for from don hume but i thought they were on the same level as galco?
  12. mine too. but part of that is becuase i only have 1 gun
  13. that storm case looks awfully expensive to be nothin special... very nice "keepers"
  14. how is bulman leather? what about K&D? HBE? UBG? what is the consensus on the Tucker Silent Thunder? its a kydex holster that is lined with leather on the inside
  15. +1 on hero gear. most any gun shop will have the speedloaders. alot of places will have the grips too. not sure how you plan on putting a light on a gp100, i didnt thin it had a rail on it? i know hero gear had a charger last time i was down there. the mark3 might be hit or miss though
  16. of so i took my course and will be sending in my paperwork for my hcp in about a month. i do plan on carrying everyday, so i need some good holsters who makes good, high-quality leather holsters? i need a IWB, a OWB, and a ankle holster. thought i should go ahead and get my holster ordered since most are on a several week/month wait right now. i will be carrying a XDm9 right now but will soon get a G33 and a S&W 442
  17. that sounds alot like a quote from ted nugent, "if guns kill people, all mine are defective"
  18. you could get an ac/dc converter and plug the converter in a household 110v outlet and then plug the 12volt unit into the converter
  19. yea we def. got the wrong end of that one
  20. no you shoulda got a chevy, they get tons better gas mileage. and they're just mo' betta! seriously though, nice truck.
  21. one thing to know is that rock river arms has what they call the .223 wylde chamber and they say it is good for .223rem or 5.56x45mmNATO, same thing as a 5.56mm chamber IMO. i had a S&W M&P15A and it was flawless and a buddy of mine had a bushmaster and it ran great too. a A2 configuation should be a bit cheaper right now because everybody wants a A3 or A4. and yes, HeroGear is THE place to go for an AR to be honest, the only manufacturer i can think of off-hand that i would suggest not going with is Olympic
  22. not saying that it is so but, i would think being a benefactor would buy you some slack when it comes to rules
  23. if a man spends that kinda dough on a shotgun, i will GUARANTEE you he doesnt have a wife, but if im wrong and he does, if he can afford that shotgun, he can buy a new wife
