  1. not only did you paint it but you put on a different stock, forend, barrel, scope, scope mount and rings, and front gas block. and thats only things that i notice so changing all that will make it look like a different rifle. nice lookin rifle no matter what.
  2. i have known people who call all .22's "toy guns" that is a very nice gun, is it yours? if so, any close up pics of the engraving on the cylinder, looks intricate
  3. i would be all over a xdm in .357sig like a fat kid on cake i love the .357sig round, had it in a G33 and loved it, ended up selling it and getting something else. kinda regret it now, no make that really regret it now, lol. wish someone would make a .357sig carbine though, id love that
  4. i paid $285 for mine, alot of gun for the money
  5. i used to have one. built like a tank, i never had any kind of malfunction with it.
  6. i might could see 5 cents per purchase, but not per round.
  7. if its not high mileage and has a spot on tune, with a centrifugal 8psi at 6500rpm should be no problem, will only see max boost momentarily anyways. given he has upgraded the valvesprings and hasnt increased compression. 12psi should be doable with a little methanol/water injection. this is on an LS1 btw, not sure what the ford mod motors can handle...
  8. nice, although 5psi sounds VERY conservative to me. are you on ls1tech?
  9. i made my dad keep his, or either sell it to me. he said that if somebody had walked up and offered him $100 he would have sold it not knowing what it was worth. i think it is a super fun gun to shoot
  10. shooter was really good too. still like the weapons from punisher- war zone
  11. haha, yea, thats why i have or want most of the things in my truck, i will likely NEVER use them, but ive got them if i do.
  12. what i meant was that i wasnt really looking for something that i could take on foot, just something to keep everything together in the vehicle, but now that you mention it, maybe it might be beneficial to have it transportable on foot, in addition to the main stuff
  13. a few months ago there was a buying frenzy for the nylon 66, reason i noticed is that my dad has one. and it was NOT uncommon to see it sell for $300 and a few went for $350 that i saw. i even saw one set with the nylon 66 and the mohawk IAC go for $700 the 66 is tube fed and the IAC is box mag fed. id say around $200 for yours after you fix the sights
  14. i originally wasnt thinking of a backpack type if i were to be on foot for some reason. but i am now considering it. just want a large bag to have everything in one bag that i could possibly swap from vehicle to vehicle. my actual bug out bag for when on foot is much more extensively packed and a separate issue, even though i havent gotten it yet... the maxpedition duffels look interesting, any word on how tuff they are?
  15. oh, great, you make cliff notes AFTER I read the whole thing... before i read that i was going to say about how i think that every single gun manufacturer has quality issues, how many did glock have? one or two issues is NOT something to worry about, heck i hear about all kinds of problems with kimbers, but if i could afford it id try one in a heartbeat, and try to make it work. even if there were say 2000 guns with exploded barrels, so what if there are 20 million that didnt, not using exact numbers, just random figures
  16. in my vehicle bag, a few of the things i will have that take up space and weigh a good bit are 2-ton floor jack come-along winch DC air compressor 2000watt ac/dc power inverter/converter good for 10amps of ac power 600amp automotive battery jump starter, jump start ANY battery maybe excluding a semi and other basic survival items thus i need something reinforced, not just a nylon bag, i can get that at walmart. now i would consider two bags one for the normal survival things and one for the heavier things i mentioned, and get a backpack for the survival items and a duffel type for te large items
  17. dont need a range bag, but a duffel bag. thanks for the heads up on the gunshow
  18. dont worry, this isnt about what to put in them, but rather what to put the stuff in. where is a good place to get just a standard reinforced duffel bag, say for the vehicle bag? what would you suggest to use as a backpack for the main bug-out bag? preferrably something that can hold alot of stuff.
  19. i also think that the marlin 1894 in .357mag is an excellent choice. can shoot .38s also if in a pinch and a .357 out of a 16" barrel should drop anything you would come in contact with in TN.
  20. if i read that correctly, that only applies to things MANUFACTURED in Montana. how many gun manufacturers are actually located in Montana? i bet even fewer have a factory, distributer, and either wholesaler and/or dealer all inside the Montana state lines. sorry to rain on the parade
  21. czmelson, ive seen your car for sale, VERY nice, a camaro is more my style anyways. an numbers on it?
  22. beautiful! car. love the wheels. the SVT group is only part of ford that i like but i love most of the SVT cars and trucks
  23. wow that thing looks cool, even smaller than i thought
  24. no prob on repeat, just thought id throw it out there before someone really grilled you
