  1. werd, the info has to match or they wont do it. tried that at the last gun show.
  2. what are some good semi-auto .22LR SMALL guns out there? my dad is looking for one to keep on his motorcycle. the walther p22 is too big for him, he says. he kinda likes the size of the .32 keltec. i reccommended the beretta 21A, any others? oh, and i tried to rationalize with a little bigger caliber, but he wants the .22LR
  3. actually no, currently am working about 15-20 hours a week and am having trouble scrounging money to pay for gas to go to work, since it ends up being about 3-4 hours a day 4-5 days a week. love to be there but construction in my area isnt exactly booming. and its about 70 miles to nashville
  4. id love to but i really doubt i can go that far, between work schedules and cost of it. great idea though
  5. my current EDC is cell phone surefire backup (flashlight) pocket folding knife of some sort wallet 2 sets of keys one for truck and one for locks etc. thats it for now

some units tested dragonskin but i think they deemed it too heavy to wear all day even though it can with stand a frag grenade to the chest with no penetration.

are you? reason i ask is i looked into it a little while back and found out its not practical to wear every day unless you are practically forced to. i want one simply to have it in case i need it a level II for lite occasions and a level IIIA with ceramic trauma plates if im expecting needing it against highly penetrating pistol or rifles directed at "justme" also c.a.s., would you wear BA daily if you had it?

i am not saying i need justification for BA only the fact that I WANT IT. just like i dont need justification for a M-16, MP-5, serbu shorty, suppressors, or even a 10mm for that matter. but i WANT these. i am not saying you are overly paranoid or need a mental evaluation if you want or have BA. the OP asked who had thought about getting it or wearing it. the first response had the tone that you dont need it as a civilian. i wish i had a reason i could say that i NEED it as a civilian, but i dont. that is all that i was saying in reference to the justification. just like i cant justify a .50bmg rifle, but i want it.

i have seriously considered getting a level IIIA w/ trauma plates that i could put in the car or keep as part of my BOB. also thought about a level II for wearing if i thought i would need it but then common sense kicks in and i realize im not the punisher walking around. i definetely want a vest for if SHTF just like i want a BOB i will likely never use, just havent invested the funds for it yet. logically i really dont know how to justify it if you arent in law enforcement or the military, or private security.
  13. I Am Legend Dawn of the Dead Resident Evil (all of them) Shaun of the Dead
  14. but if you get a harris then you can say your bipod costs as much as the base gun, lol
  15. if he wants something a little bit bigger than a 442/642, look at the ruger sp101
  16. cant say that i have dont suppose you have any pics of this?
  17. never had any but just might have to try some in about a week, bottle looks awesome none the less
  18. ive never had a problem with this before but i just tried to post and it said thank you for posting and that it would be visible AFTER a mod approved it. what is up with that, never seen it before?
  19. thats something you do BEFORE you start filming.
  20. my suggestions are, in no particular order, 1911 variant, hk usp-c, hk45c, sig p229, or a s&w semi-auto.
  21. on a single shot you do have to be careful of the 26" minimum length, the receiver on a pump or semi adds length but the break overs dont have the mass and length of a "receiver" so to speak
  22. and you dont get a license. you buy a stamp good for only one weapon. just their way of giving you a special receipt for paying a tax on the restricted weapon
  23. yea, i think the OP needs to clarify, is this a class 3 dealer license or just getting a stamp for a NFA weapon (SBS, SBR, machine gun etc.)
