    Truck Guns

me personally i have a locking tool box and i would figure a way to mount a case inside it to hold a 870 and/or an AR-15. this is pending my permit of course, and funds...
  3. as a civilian, i cant think of an instance when someone used one but thats probably because THEY DIDNT HAVE IT! i prefer to be prepared (some call it paranoid) for the unexpected, or unthinkable instead of wishing i had it.
  4. my signature explains how i feel about it. as far as a rifle, maybe your off-roading in similar terrain, you never know when it might come in handy. as for a shotgun, everyone says it is the best for home defense, why not car defense? this is not to say that i would use a long gun if i were in the passenger compartment of my vehicle, i doubt anybody would. most are going to keep them in the trunk or in a tool box on a truck. long guns are for if SHTF bad enough that a handgun isnt quite enough. i can see needing one in a hurricane katrina type situation. why did the old farmers keep rifles or shotguns in a gun rack on their pickups?
  5. remember ANY new gun brought into this country has had an import tax paid on it, that guns manufactured here dont have
  6. never heard of it as the saying goes, pics! or it didnt happen, lol
  7. sounds great! good to hear about the future expansion of product lines!
  8. hey joe, i heard there was some talk one time about some wooden furniture for the AR's, any word on this?
  9. how could he let that happen to a diamondback?!
  10. 6.8 has more velocity and energy than 5.56nato at ANY range, so it would be good to 400+yards
  11. i care to an extent but not enough that it will persuade me one way or another if im deciding between 2 guns. for example i wont pick a S&W M&P45 over a Glock 21 simply because of the country of manufacture. it would depend on ergonomics, mag capacity, parts availability, general quality, accuracy, etc. yes i like to support america by buying stuff here but if the only way to get a better product in every way is to go with a foreign made product, then i will. tends to be that most quality products arent made in the usa anymore
  12. i think abunch of hard chromed parts would make it look better IMO. like a slide, guide rod, trigger, mag release, slide stop, etc. and a super high capacity mag(like the g18 mag but for 10mm) sticking out would complete the look imo AWESOME looking gun as is though!
  13. yes they have a proprietary lower specifically made for the glock mags, its different than their regular ARs
  14. i know if i saw someone with a bulge around their waist and they looked like there was the possibility they could have medical problems, id write it off as a medical issue and not say anything and get in a awkward situation.
  15. i can say ive never noticed anyone who was actually trying to conceal. one time i thought i saw someone trying to conceal a very large gun, looked like a BP pistol from pirates of the carribbean, but he was in a pawn shop and just had it tucked in his jacket waiting to trade it in. seen a couple OC'ing but thats it
  16. $300 or so maybe $350
  17. im sure you see those pads he has on but that is one hell of a save
  18. i have no experience with the compact model but the service model i had was amazing, i loved that gun, wish id never sold it. havent held a gun since that fit my hand as well as that one. i was more accurate with it than any other gun as well, and to top it off i could conceal it to a point. never had ANY kind of problem out of it whatsoever
