  1. i know that most people my age (21) are on some sort of government assistance but i dont understand it honestly. i pay my taxes in order to live in a safe country and have public roads manintained and have a postal service should i decide to use it. not to be paid if i wont/cant work or anything. personally i dont see any reason why ANYONE should be receiving any type of government financial assistance. everything taken away would lower the nations deficit immensley including SS, that is called managing your money wisely, not the governments job. food stamps are the biggest joke ever
  2. XDM everyday of the week, and twice on sunday. this is all my personal opinion/experiences but better trigger, smoother action, smoother/tighter feel overall, accuracy was a hair better from the factory with the xdm, take down is just as easy on both, reliability was 100% on XDM. and i personally favor the asthetics of the xdm more than the g17 now, glocks do have a better aftermarket no doubt. while the XDM does have an edge in mag capacity with the flush-fitting magazines, the g17 accepts the g18 31/33 round mags the xdm also has the interchangeable backstrap on the grip as the glock doesnt also the XDM just feels right in my hand, it points more natural like a 1911
  3. agreed, i know nothing except what was said in this thread, which is that he got someone for $600 that was supposedly for a AOW and another for $25 for something and it sounds like there are others. from what i remember, frank@ETS was starting to be one of the "go-to guys" for Class III weapons in his area...
  4. nice collection! im lovin the grip on the AR
  5. hmmm never been to either one. heard of Fast Jacks though
  6. what food locations would that be? i live in manchester, but when i go out to eat, it is USUALLY tullahoma most of the time. probably visit tullahoma at least 4x a week.
  7. oh i absolutely understand the military having them in that configuration(function over form) but i would have thought that they would have made at least the civilian version AVAILABLE in black.
  8. i personally HATE olive drab or dark earth brown on MY weapons so until they come out with a black one i have no desire for one. just like i had no desire for a chey-tac M200 intervention until it was released in black
  9. awesome! count me in now can other acquaintances or friends be invited or is it TGO members only?
  10. try a S&W j-frame revolver with larger grips in .32S&W this is what my mother has in a 3" barrel version and recoil is next to nothing. the frame is small so it fits womens hands better.
  11. yep works now. maybe you should add a GRAPHIC! disclaimer in the original post
  12. i vote for a nice set of wood grips
  13. i actually use good ole castrol 10w30 and change at 3000 miles if i got a nicer car i would use either amsoil or royal purple
  14. they will use a bic pen if forced to. anything can be a weapon if you want it to be and you are desperate enough
  15. the 870 and 1100 are great guns, especially if you shoot them well. shooting skill and mid grade/good quality gun trumps low skill/high end(expensive) gun every time. most skeet shooters use a O/U shotgun. would be suitable for a bird hunting gun but so would anything else.
  16. exactly! terrorist cells typically use something that can cause lots of damage without much effort like a bomb. usually dont use firearms, unless its dealing and trafficking them(think illegal guns, m16, FA ak47, M203, etc) to make money.
  17. depends on what they did to get on the terrorist watch list.
  18. pretty much. winchester voluntarily discontinued the black talon line of ammo after a couple of lawsuits calling them "cop-killers" however they introduced the ranger line of ammo and removed the black teflon coating from the bullets, to make them less evil looking and all was well. its all about the look
