  1. the .308 fits an AR-10 lower, not a AR-15 lower. but it doesnt matter what upper you put on your lower whether it is marked 5.56 or multi or even something else. pistol and rifle cant be changed but caliber doesnt matter, unless you go and register a SBR lower and then its up to the ATF agent that processes your form what you have on it.
  2. but no lighters with 1911s or any kind for guns for that matter on it

  7. 01 silverado 2wd 4.8v8 12-15mpg mixed. once on a trip to indiana and back i got 18 all interstate going around 55-60mph
  8. never happen, they couldnt afford to do it now. wouldnt make good business sense anyways. Colt is a name of prestige now, you cant sell prestige for cheap and keep its reputation of prestige. S&W doesnt sell their top of the line revolvers that cheap, why should colt? now around $7-800 for and old colt quality python is not unreasonable considering for mint condition they are $1200 +++ now. if it happens, i think they will drop quality a little to be semi-competitive in the market.
  9. those are nice bikes, plenty of power
  10. nice bike! yea the highway bars really help on long hauls. what brand is it? what size?
  11. yea, you have always had to pay for the pony on the side
  12. buddy of mine had a bryco jennings 9 and said it jammed more than it shot. couldnt shoot it more than 3 times in a row. just your ordinary saturday night special
  13. also the wolf steel cases are non reloadable
  14. anybody heard anything about colt starting production again on some of their double action revolver lines? i saw it while searching for info on the snake guns awhile back but never saw anything official be cool if they started making them again
  15. i think what strickj is referring to is a "murse" or mans purse
  16. what's the name of the restaraunt so i can stop by next time i go to hero gear? EDIT: nevermind, i should read better. But i know where i am going next time i stop at hero gear!
  17. umm, wow. this is extremely frightening. just another reason not to participate in government handouts/programs. did you catch the part where if you have internet phone that they can tap into that as well! this goes farther that the patriot act ever thought about going
  18. from the info ive gathered recently, after you get setup and get the good deals on stuff and everything, you save about 2-3 dollars a box of 50. but its more of another hobby than it is saving money, plus like aforementioned, you can make your own custom handloads that you cant buy.
  19. id say the R9 if you can swing it or if not go with the Kahr
  20. if you dont have a handgun carry permit, it must be unloaded and the ammo must not be in the vicinity of the gun. example, gun is in trunk, ammo must be in passenger compartment. or vice versa.
  21. they will work in the gun. you do know that anything labeled as .45colt will work in it not just .45long colt, right? ammo shouldnt be that hard to find
