  1. I guess it's area dependent. I have always had bad luck with FedEx. Not many problems with UPS.
  2. It's sad but to get true old school Craftsman made in the USA quality you have to pay Snap On prices to get it now.
  3. Same here, except I hope it's not the cops that catch them...
  4. Mine is not a gift. Prioritize the others, I'm in no hurry.
  5. I have a couple pair of their jeans. Although no M4 Rebar versions with dedicated knife pocket. Good jeans, and after the first pair I was happy to pay the $60 each I paid for mine at Frenchs. I'll have to find some of these with the knife pocket.
  6. My liberal co worker always says "it's for the children", I guess this is what they were talking about.
  7. Not Ohshoot obviously but defense is legal, but once they are no longer a threat to you, as in running away from you, that's when in crosses the line.
  8. I don't see how it's anything but defensive, as that report says the suspects fired at the homeowner from outside and they returned fire, seems ok to me.
  9. Really digging the new look, more modern.
  10. I'm in! Soon as it gets put in the store. Side note, really liking the new skin on the mobile site @TGO David. From the behind the scenes work to the swag and everything else, Thanks!
  11. Fort Hood shooting is the only one I know of. Having said that, it is very telling of the effectiveness of the caliber. All hits made with it were fight stoppers. Even the ones that weren't center mass. Some of the extremities shots or lower torso shots put down their target and out of the fight. He wasn't using black tip (LE/MIL only AP rounds) either, best I recall it was blue tip (civilian legal, widely available). Also Mexican drug cartels would be known to carry it either if it wasn't effective or a fancy .22mag. I really like the 5.7 for defense. It's a true shame we don't have a wider range of pistols chambered for it. All we have is the FN and at $1000 for a full size pistol, it's going to be hard to get much market penetration and widespread acceptance, much less lots of of ballistic testing.
  12. You now have immunity from all future panic buys. No one panic buys .30-06 ammo. Why? Men with .30-06s don't panic.
  13. You would see some cheap ones but the guys that are innovating and not using antiquated technology will still be close to current pricing. Guys like Dead Air, Silencerco, Griffin Armament, etc. would be your innovative guys whereas the guys selling $200 suppressor now are like companies who sell 1911s and ARs. Nothing special about them, they work, but don't have the newest technology.
  14. From what I hear the Brian Enos forums has a lot of competition shooters on there and more than willing to help.
  15. Probably because they bought stuff they didn't need/want right now with money they don't have and can't realistically justify it to either themselves or their spouse now. No offense to members posting on here, it's obviously a joke, but I have heard a few people before the election say to max out as many credit cards as you can and buy ARs.
  16. I'm not sure if they are active now, but in the past we have had members from outside the US.
  17. Should this be working yet on the mobile theme? There is no icon to click "in the bottom right hand of every screen" and when I click it through the menu in the top right, it opens a new tab called Comet Chat with a full page error message saying to contact site admin.
  18. Charging handle isn't as flashy as furniture or handguard. Regardless of marketing, this rifle was designed and made for beginners not experienced shooters who know what they want. It has polymer Keymod for goodness sake. Not to mention the A2 front sight.
  19. The terminal illness was only for front line guys, likely to walk past them, then rescue others trapped. And use one that had a vaccine you could take immediately after mission. It was merely a stop gap to save as many as possible before they found a cure or not for the actual disease causing it.
  20. Starting to take on a Deadshot kind of look to it. Looks good.
  21. I have large hands so I can't give personal experience. Most people ive talked to though say the gen 3 21 sf feels quite a bit smaller than a standard gen 3. And that the gen 4 without backstrap is about the same as a gen 3 sf.
  22. As the old Indian chief once said, Only the white mans government could come up with the idea that you can cut a foot off one end of the blanket and sew it on the other end to make it longer. I hate daylight savings time. Just leave it alone. Or even better go back to everyone working sun up to sun down and don't even worry about what time it is beyond morning, noon, or evening.
  23. That has to be borderline illegal. Tell me they arent a sponsor on TGO.
