    1911 .45

if you arent wanting to spend alot, (and i hate to say this to endorse their product, but ...) a Taurus is a good value for its price for a 1st 1911.
  7. ahh, ok then you will have to do the rest of the permits. i assume you are doing this yourself as the homeowner? because otherwise you have to be licensed now to do plumbing
  8. if you didnt buy a building permit i wouldnt buy a plumbing inspection permit either.
  9. yea, but if you already have water hooked up to your house, there is absolutely NO reason to get it inspected.
  10. this thread is amazing, tons of great info. it should be archived and stickied for new nembers
  11. this thread is pure epic win. we just have to make sure we keep it on the first page for when he logs back on so he sees it.

    Wakeup Call...

they make 3" officers frame 1911s in 9mm now, just sayin. rapid fire/quick target acquisition is what that gun is made for right? not a target shooter.
  13. fallguy, thats why i said on your person if the firearm fires multiple projectiles with one shot(shotshell) its a shotgun. ATF has already said that a 12ga. pistol is a DD, because after the success of the taurus judge, taurus was going to make a 12ga. pistol of some sort and call it "The God" but the decided against it because it would be a NFA-regulated DD(destructive device) unless it has a 18" barrel or longer like all the remington 870 and mossberg 500 pistol grip shotguns out there. ATF also said that any smoothbore barrel make the firearm a shotgun. that is why the judge had to have a rifled barrel or it would fall under NFA regulation
  14. the shortage of ammo has kept us from going shooting and we are getting cranky because of it its Obama's fault!!!
  15. first off anything with a 8-12" barrel wont be comfortable to carry all day everyday. but the main thing, its a NFA-regualted weapon and because its still a shotgun and not a handgun, its not legal to carry in TN, as we have a HANDGUN carry permit not a WEAPON permit/license. so even if you wanted to you couldnt legally carry it on your person.
  16. wow x2 and the post that brought it back is actually irrevelant as nobady can or will be carrying a 12ga. shotgun around just incase they come upon a level IIIa armor clad assailant
  17. nice! is there a reason why there is no right-side-up pics?
  18. Amen. I believe it was Wal-Mart that started it, but I hate it as much as the next man. When I first saw it I thought, what the... nobody is ever always right.
  19. id probably go for an 05 bodystyle STi in that type of car (awd, I4, racer) my dream car would be a 70 chevelle though
  20. i have never heard of anyone converting a normal shotgun to a AOW only a SBS. a correction though, you cannot in any way convert a pistol to a rifle or a SBR, in any way. once a pistol always a pistol, it can NEVER have a shoulder stock added to it. this is how it was explained to me. this is why AR guys cant get a AR pistol and when they want a SBR, just get a stock and have the receiver engraved, it had to be a rifle in the beginning. but now that i think about it, how can the guys get away with glock shoulder stocks if they have 16" barrels or the mechtech carbine conversion units?
  21. i retract my original statement there are very few 4cyl cars that i like but the STi is one of them. however i dont like the new hatchbacks, UGLY.
