  1. I got bored and ran across a 7 page "jokes" thread on another forum i frequent. If I struck a nerve on someone, sorry. It wont bother me a bit if you add me to your ignore list and have ALL my threads disappear from your view. I know some people enjoyed some of them and some really didnt like them.
  2. probably so. with the LSx engines and the Hemi's having a pcm, you can do so much tuning on them its unreal compard to a carbd application. i can only imagine them trying to figure out the tune on one of those because they owned everybody else on the track.
  3. true. i really cant believe that NASCAR is still using the 1st gen carb'd smallblocks for engines. i really thought they would have kept up with technology and upgraded engine platforms by now. i mean gm production cars are now on a 4thgen small block, while nascar is still using a 1st gen. but if they did that and each manufacturer had to use their own brand of engine, ford would be screwed, and possibly toyota, because the GM LSx is waaayyy better than the ford mod engines and anykind of v8 toyota could make up. and the dodge new hemi engines are starting to get enough aftermarket support to run with GM. another problem is though that there would be TONS of restrictions on the turbo, because they can be tuned almost indefinetely.
  4. This doesnt surprise me since chrysler was bought out recently. I bet Chevy is taken out within 2-3 years. NASCAR died when Earnhardt Sr. died
  5. yes, with a revolver, you would be able to shoot the shorts and longs along with the long rifle also. you would not be able to shoot magnums in it though
  6. jhatmaker, i need specifics on the first rifle, looks like a set of furniture for a standard AR-10? also, the second post is just a red x
  7. could be interesting. I will note though, that in Seagals later films that i saw on USA network or FX, that it was VERY clear that there was someone doing voice-overs for him the entire movie, kinda killed it for me. I didnt know if he was just getting too old to talk or what.
  8. The action looks big enough to house a .50BMG! I was surprised to say the least when it said it is chambered for .308
  9. nice! lookin good so far. what upper are you going with?
  10. I like it!
  11. I definetely do NOT want a retention strap. I hate those. That's what I thought about kydex being more weather-resistant, but leather just seems like the natural choice when going out in the woods and hunting type of thing. I would get leather if they are close to being equal. I was thinking a Galco or similar relatively high-quality, yet mass-produced leather side holster. I would rather have it fit close to the body and not stick out very far.
  12. Would a kydex have better retention than a leather holster? This is a OWB/Open carry situation. Carrying around in the woods type thing.
  13. just thought I would say more than 3 words
