  1. I keep mine in the center console. anything else I have seen is too visible. Now I really dont care if someone else sees it when Im driving alone but sometimes I let people borrow or drive my car or people ride with me that Id rather not know (for ex., teens from my church that sometimes ride with me to church outings, dont know how their parents would react if they knew I carried). Its a big plus for me if there is a slot or cubby hole large enough to hold the gun when you are in the vehicle, then put it in the console when you are done.

good to hear the report, looking forward to seeing how their CS is and if it gets fixed
  3. I am VERY disappointed nothing from Fast and the Furious made it on the list.
  4. currently Ive been mexican carrying just because the holster I got with my gun was a cheap no name kydex IWB and its VERY uncomfortable. Ill probably get a OWB first then a IWB high quality holster. I carry a officers frame 3" CD 1911
  5. Colt Python is the best I have felt but admittedly I dont remember much about the DA pull as I didnt use that much, I always shot it in single action mode. a Ruger Security Six I shot was not very good, kinda rough, gritty and quite heavy on DA
  6. well from what I have heard from EVERYBODY is that ALL Kahr pistols have a breakin period before they are reliable. 100 rounds is certaintly not enough to deem a pistol "junk" or not, possibly 1000 on the low scale.

  8. G27 would be a quick sell. paintball gun would be a crapshoot, might sell might not, might take a while to sell. My experience has been great, I have sold probably 5-6 guns on here, and bought a few also. Most were within a couple of weeks timeframe. I dont think TGO works too well most times for selling anything non-firearms related (paintball, etc.) but works great for guns. Plus you know most of the time wo you are dealing with and whether they have a good rep or not. Most of mine were bought/sold prior to requiring Benefactor status for the Trading Post

that must be why alot of people I see walking in south nashville have to hold their pants up as their walking

please dont get one of the NAA mini revolvers. They are too small, plus they are single action, not very good for a BUG

might also consider the beretta tomcat
  12. i like the brown

really depends if you want a semi-auto or a revolver. in auto, I would have in order of preference Rohrbaugh R9 - same size as the 380 but in full 9mm power Kahr P380 Kahr PM9 Ruger LCP KelTec P3AT in revolver any J-frame in your flavor, I personally like the 442/642
  14. NEF single shot break action .410
  15. i believe there is some law that says if you use your firearm in a justified self-defense situation, you cant be charged with illegally carrying a concealed weapon, but I have always heard it used in context of someone with an HCP carrying in a posted location. but in reference to your question, I think as far as apartments go, its "property" stops at the door or porch. but dont hold me to that, its just an assumption. personally, if it makes her feel safer, carry on armed with a heightened state of alertness and conceal decently, and if cops come around, go inside disarm and return outside to finish.
  16. the XD-9/40/357/45GAP is one frame size, not slide but frame size, and the XD-45ACP has a larger frame.
  17. as mentioned before, you could pick up a ruger p-series, S&W 3rd gen semiauto, taurus, but I believe the best would be the S&W Sigma SW9VE, great pistol, VERY reliable, cant be beat for the price. IF it were just for carry, id suggest a Kel-Tec PF9, but that wouldnt be very comfortable to put a few hundred rounds through in a range session.
  18. it is the same size as a XD-9/40/357 service, the xd-45 or -M series is a different frame
  19. those are great!
  20. yea, I didnt know anything about the 410 until I started looking for the 12ga. apparently they are trying to get some of saigas market, and I couldnt be happier, I MUCH prefer the AR to the AK (personal feelings).
  21. anybody hear anything about this yet? revealed at SHOT 2010, ATI is going to to be coming out with an AR-type 12ga. semiauto, mag-fed shotgun. My guess is an AR-10 lower but who knows.
  22. I havent seen many but Saving Private Ryan is one of my favorites
  23. depending on how she dresses or if she is willing to change the way she dresses to accommodate carry, I would think that IWB at approx 2:00 or 4:00 strongside would work good for that. a shoulder holster or an underarmour holster shirt could work too I dont like ankle holsters except for a BUG or a second BUG
  24. just wait until one of the bosses finds out an employee LIED to them in order to get someone else in trouble, bet they wont be happy then...
  25. watched Hurt Locker and Surrogate today. Hurt Locker was ok I guess, definetely wouldnt buy it. Surrogate was pretty good IMO. Starred Bruce Willis in a world maybe 5 years in the future where everyone except a few who refuse it(led by Ving Rahmes) stay inside their homes all the time and are hooked up to a machine in which their thoughts control a "surrogate" a human looking and acting robot that goes into the real world for them, no disease and no pain, no injuries, etc. when some guy has a weapon that can kill the surrogate and the operator simultenously.
