  1. Since when? Lol
  2. it isnt legal to use it according to NEC. if you are installing the rough-in wiring in a new construction house and the roof isnt dried in yet and it rains and the water is coming in some inspectors will make you tear out the wiring and use new dry wire. If it were UF-rated wire it would have been ok but if it does indeed have the paper inside it isnt legal to use and I personally wouldnt use it as the paper mostlikely had degraded
  3. try a colt defender as far as the HKs and Sigs DA pull, why on earth would you not carry cocked and locked if you could even though it had DA ability?
  4. I would suggest impact training as previously mentioned or a Taser or very potent pepper-spray
  5. My stepbrother had a handirifle in .45/70 with a scope that I shot once and that hooked me on the .45/70 round after that, it does have some recoil, but just enough to be fun and not punish you with normal loadings. I went and bought a marlin 1895 after that and I think thats probably the funnest gun I ever had, much more fun to shoot than my AR IMHO.
  6. If I were hunting bear it would be with a .458WinMag or a .458Lott, I would rather not take the chance when the animal attacks you.
  7. does anybody carry this ammo(Hornady Leverevolution) in their EDC revolver in .357, .44 or .45colt?
  8. if I had my choice it'd be a .45/70 lever gun, but if forced to take a handgun itd definetely be a S&W 500mag in 4" barrell version, with the hottest handloads I could make.
  9. 9mm penetrates better than .40 or .45 actually I have thought about getting a 10mm, .357mag or .44mag to carry in the winter for better penetration
  10. the latest commercial uses the words "dry-firing"
  11. If your gonna have it threaded for a can you cant rightly use .22lR, thats not tactical enough, gotta chamber it in FN 5.7mm Seriously though wouldnt 5.7mm be as good or better than .22mag, plus it would be centerfire instead of rimfire, dont know which is easier to make
  12. im not online gaming so this probably doesnt account for much but I thought at least on campaign it was waaayyyy too short and never really impressed me. I hope COD Black Ops is better, glad I rented before buying it
  13. beautiful rifle
  14. remodel is the ONLY aspect of construction going right now aside from select VERY fortunate areas. Im an electrician and there is no work anywhere, Im now doing fire and water damage restoration (ServPro). If remodeling is what you want to do thats great but I wouldnt advise investing in a General Contractors license just to build houses, the market isnt quite ready for it yet in most areas.
  15. I would invest in a Storm/Pelican case for airline travel if possible.
  16. from your original post it sounds like you have it backwards, .30-06 is more powerful than .308, but Mike is right, ballistics will be virtually the same at 200yards.
  17. Any have any details? not the 3.8 but saw an ad in a gun magazine that a compact XDM was coming, looked like a subcompact to me
  18. unless you whore it up in the three word thread, you dont get to brag about post counts
  19. I wanna know what kinda motor swap they did or if ford really upped their game to hold that kinda power on factory block
  20. .22 rifle - Marlin Model 60, Ruger 10/22, Marlin 39a, Ruger 77/22 tactical shotgun - Remington 870, Remington 887, Mossberg 500, Mossberg 590, Benelli M4
  21. personally Id put the ACOG on the 15T and the eotech on the 15-22 and leave off the magnifier JMO
  22. #1 favorite part for me was hearing Stallone's truck runnin at full song in the chase scene, Ive NEVER seen a movie where the engine sounded that good. #2 was at the end when Stallone was fanning his SAA
  23. That was a pretty hard hit, glad he made out ok
