  1. I saw an ad for those in a gun magazine a while back and wondered if they actually worked. Im one of those guys that has a problem with the grip angle on glocks and saw this as a solution. Didnt know you got two for that price though, may have to try them out. Great review.
  2. A compromise of sorts would be a magnified red dot such as an eotech with 3-4x magnifier or an acog at 4x or even up to 6x.
  3. Welcome, from Manchester here too
  4. Absolutely ingenious idea! Any reason it wouldnt work with more layers for more rounds?
  5. Welcome to the forums!
  6. You cant sell guns in this subforum. You have to use the trading post and in order to do that you must purchase benefactor status. Per forum rules. Just a heads up before the moderators come in.
  7. Fwiw, mcminnville is 3-4hours away from knoxville.
  8. Yup but it honestly would hurt my feelings a bit if it suddenly vaporized
  9. Nickel plate over top of them
  10. Place in question would be a nissan zone. Definetely against policy but im driving about 70miles and dont like going that far from home unarmed
  11. I mean it was a haunted house, and ill tell ya nothing would scare me more than a shotgun pointed at my face
  12. Ill pass. Dont even have a 1911 to put em on. You might be able to remove the gold plating somehow and have them silverish or pewter or whatever.
  13. Just thought that if you had pearl grips which are a sign of a new orleans pimp as observed my Gen. Patton, that these grips might be pimp-er.
  14. Does anybody know if its legal to have a firearm on foreign trade zone property? Not really wanting to carry on my person just keep it in my vehicle.
  15. Maybe replace your pearl grips with those...
  16. Now thats funny!
  17. Lester: i was thinking little debbies would go faster than candy bars. I know if you leave snack cakes on the kitchen counter after a couple weeks they dont taste too good to me. And taste is the whole point!
  18. Only problem is those type things usually dont have a very long shelf life
  19. Ive never had the feeling that I had "enough" ammo on hand. YMMV
  20. I use the mobile site almost exclusively and havent experienced the first problem yet.
  21. I havent had the first issue at all using the mobile site fwiw
  22. Article said he might have been breaking in to steal his guns. Dont bring a pistol to a rifle fight.
  23. Just another reason id never buy a new car even if they were free
  24. Common sense would say yes. I have heard of some ranges with range officers that say that any and all brass becomes range property once it hits the ground. I have also heard of brass thieves being so bad that they get it as soon as it hits the ground and they say once it hits the ground it fair game. Personally I wouldnt go to a range where either situation happened and Id do my best to talk anyone and everyone out of ever going there again
