    357 sig ..

Correct except that .45gap is in the smaller family
  3. I like it because i dont like aks and ars are built tighter imo so thats my draw to it.
  4. http://www.rockriverarms.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=category.display&category_id=558 Anybody have one yet? Thoughts? Maybe someone finally got a 7.62x39 AR to work with AK mags

    357 sig ..

Fwiw the sig p226/p229 can also swap to .40 with just a barrel swap. In fact the mags are marked .357/.40

    357 sig ..

In my area .357 sig ammo is about $2 per 50 higher than .45acp
  7. Ive never heard of crocus cloth or mostaccioli. And I dont ask for pop or soda, i ask for a coke for a general term or use the name of the particular drink i want. Im 24 and born and raised in the Winchester/Manchester area.
  8. Dont know how true it is but an acquaintance said he stopped by and he wouldnt even take it off the rack. I dont blame him if it was his sons though.
  9. Not for sale last time i checked. It was the owners sons and display only. Unless they got another one in.

    357 sig ..

I love the .357sig round. I have a P229 and its real nice I just dont care for DA/SA with a decocker. I had a Glock 33 that i foolishly let slip away, will get another soon. The G33 is a true pocket rocket.
  11. Number 1 the 9.5" barrel makes it a SBR. Number 2 one trigger pull firing 2 shots makes it a machine gun in BATFE eyes
  12. Why o why did you have to show me that? Always wondered why no one made a quality firearm in 7.62x25 and now you show me a 1911 conversion...
  13. Using the logic of not using loads hotter than normal, no one should ever use +p or buffalo bore ammo.
  14. All slug rounds are not the same. Some are made with rifling made into slug and therefore dont need a rifled barrel. Others are made like an extremely large bore rifle, normal round lead projectile without rifleing and that type NEEDS a rifled barrel for any amount of accuracy.

Hopefully yes but this isnt the thread for that discussion. I see this selling at most marginally better than the g36. Xds has better ergos (imo), match grade barrel, slimmer, better aestetics, better sights, softer shooting. Glock is a more recognized and established brand name. I like it for carry when i dont feel like carrying or dressing around a bigger gun. Its better than a 5shot jframe or a 6shot .380acp. And imo better than a 7shot 9mm or a 6 shot .40 pocket auto either.
  16. My guess would be if a suppressor got damaged by fire you would be out a suppressor and tax stamp. Granted the dealers should at the very least pay for a suppressor and maybe a tax stamp but you would definetely have to wait and apply for another tax stamp.

It was fine in the wild west for how long?
  18. From my reading, the scar rifles in both 5.56 and 7.62NATO have a sharp recoil impulse that is hard on optics. It feels light in the shoulder but the way it recoils is hard on optics. You need heavy duty optics for a scar. Again this is from my reading of experiences on the internet, no personal experiences on my behalf.

Hmmn may have to go check it out
  20. I cant stand him. He usually doesnt have any info in his videos that i didnt already know so i dont watch anymore. Lots of more tolerable people out there IMO. Id rather listen to hickok45
  21. I thoroughly loathe people who touch me that i dont know. If your a stranger and touch me, at the very least expect a WTF are you doing look. A gentlemans handshake is one thing but more than that is what im referring to. Im 24 years old btw.
  22. I would say the ZR1 and the Ford GT (mid engined supercar) would be fair competition or at least as close as it will get.
  23. I believe only if you are otherwise engaged in criminal activities. But not illegal by itself
