  1. Wilson combat makes a suppressor specifically for the .458socom
  2. Not sure but didnt see a badge and he didnt look or act like LE.
  3. Nobody checked me on friday night. Guy right in front of me in line was OC'ing a glock 19/23/32. Noone batted an eye as he walked past three employees and atleast one was a manager. Its worth noting that its a regal cinema theatre and they have a gunbuster at the front door.
  4. I have used dewalt and ridgid for most part from the 12v dewalt up through their 36v stuff and the ridgid 24v. They are both similar quality in my experiences. I have also had good experiences with Milwaukee although less experience. I was a residential electrician and used the drills for things i really should have gotten a corded drill for but they work just fine. My advice is either dewalt, ridgid, or Milwaukee. Although i think ridgid has lifetime guarantee on their batteries if you register your tool with them.
  5. For hunting think of it as a rifle/round for 250 yards and closer. Of course always check your trajectory at the range before hitting the field with it. It sounds like the perfect rifle for TN, great self defense round for inside the home or out and about on the property, great for hunting in 90% of TN hunting situations on large game, and if you reload its a great recreational/fun gun.
  6. Not to my knowledge. .308win is the higher pressure round between the two with 7.62nato being lower pressure. Now when comparing .223rem and 5.56nato, 5.56nato is the higher pressure round and .223rem is the lower pressure round. And it is safe to fire .223rem in a 5.56nato chamber. Edit: i guess a couple other guys already explained it pretty well.
  7. Im pretty sure anything over a .22 is considered high powered to liberals
  8. You can shoot 7.62nato in a .308win chamber but not reverse
  9. 7.62russian doesnt exist. 7.62x54r the R stands for rimmed not russian. Both x54r and x39 originated in russia though.
  10. Im betting its actually a TRS which would be a thunder ranch special. TRP is a springfield model
  11. Did a little gun trading and ended up with a G19 gen4 and a kahr p380. Picked up more ammo for each. Been using some of my short-medium term food stores to rotate out. Picked up more bottled water. Added more just in case items to my car bag. Also been doing more research.
  12. No moral dilemma for me either. If he is about to kill her and has the means to do so, ill drop him, no question. And not feel bad about it. It might be the wrong thing to do depending on circumstances and their history with each other but I wouldnt be able to live with myself watching someone kill someone else and having the ability to prevent it. That WOULD be rough on a mans mind.
  13. .224 boz was based off of a 10mm case requiring a large frame. If anyone is interested, .22tcm is the same as .22 micromag
  14. Mexico. What do you think MIM means? It really means Made In Mexico.
  15. Its supposed to be the 1911 version of the FNH 5.7. I havent heard of anyone actually owning one though. It has my interest piqued but not much more.
  16. Im thinkin an AR/MK12 clone with a suppressor and a few thousand rounds should suffice.
  17. Its not new, been like that for a while. But i believe they switched due to the superior penetration on vehicles of the .357sig round
  18. It has similar energy to the .45/70govt and that round was used to drop buffalo in one shot at 1000 yards. Draw your own conclusions. But it was designed to be used inside of 150-200 yards, doesnt mean its not effective beyond that. Just know your drop/holdover VERY well.
  19. Registered machine guns can have any barrel length as they are already registered. One tax stamp per item. One stamp for sbr, sbs, aow, FA, suppressor, etc. One "gun" could have multiple stamps for the sbr or machine gun, suppressor, and 40mm launcher.
  20. Also the distance between the barrel and the trigger, height-wise doesnt have room for a recoil rod and recoil spring assembly.
  21. Ok yall have piqued my interest. I now have to watch 28 days later and 28 weeks later as a result.

    AR-P220

That is one of the most beautiful ARs Ive ever seen. Ranks right up there with the Turnbull AR. Absolutely beautiful even without the sig as a companion. Mind sharing where you got the furniture ( stock and handguards)?
  23. I would guess that its a 1911 copy in .38super.
