  1. When i say this that means exact model, barrel length, caliber, finish, condition, grips/stock, and in some cases manufacture date. If the guns are truly collectible, for example Colt double action snake revolvers, no problem with having 5 Pythons exactly the same but having 5 Glock 19 gen3s that arent special editions or sentimental in some way is a bit odd
  2. Its not hoarding IMO when it is something that is useful. I would say as long as you dont have over 2 of an exact model, you are good. You are a collector, worst case.
  3. I forgot to mention steel cased is absolutely not an option. I do plan to reload in the future but im not in a position to right now( apartment + 60-70hrs per week = no go). I have been looking at the black hills for the AR.
  4. Dpms ar10 in 308 with some left over for decent optics
  5. What is the best quality ammo (FMJ) for target practice type use? I have heard that Winchester white box and bulk federal is lower powered and doesnt cycle semi autos all the time. Is American Eagle good? I dont have the space to reload my own ammo, but that would be the best way to verify quality and maintain low cost. This is also some that I would have put away for a rainy day, wouldnt want it to be bad if/when i pulled it out because i needed it. Mostly looking at 9mm .45acp .380acp .357sig and 5.56 right now
  6. Rifle wise Id suggest either a 10/22 takedown, henry ar-7, or a marlin papoose. Pistol wise, a ruger mark 2/3 with a red dot or scope would be hard to beat. Maybe a ruger single six with or without optics.
  7. X2 and a bullpup to boot!
  8. The range is 20-25 miles from the Barrett factory. Not associated with Barrett at all. Just the closest one to their factory
  9. I really like OWB carry or pocket carry. I havent found any form of IWB that is comfortable to me. I have been meaning to try a shoulder holster but havent yet.
  10. I know galco makes one. Called the ankle glove i believe
  11. One of our members, bimmerfreak (i think thats his screenname) is the guy thay designed that and has it produced. Its made right here in TN. A few members here own one as well.
  12. Trade it for a Sig P238
  13. I dont have any experience with any piston ARs but there is also LWRC, Barrett, Ruger
  14. I can see it on mobile. Looks out of place but if it works...
  15. I really like the looks of the thureon defense carbine

    ruger

I dont personally like ruger double actions but its hard to beat their single actions.

    ruger

Just my personal opinion but i wouldny buy a revolver that wasnt either a ruger, colt, or smith. And the ruger will most likely be more affordable than the others The gp100 would be my choice unless you were carrying then it would be the sp101.

    ruger

    Sp101 is a small-medium framed 5-shot revolver in .357mag Gp100 is a medium-large framed 6-shot revolver in .357mag. Gp100 is a service sized revolver. Sp101 is a compact concealable revolvet.
  19. I wasnt aware they made the 336 in .44mag. Why is it so desirable? I thought the 44s were 1894 frames?
  20. I thought Charles Daly went under earlier this year?
  21. Must have an internal extractor. Basically that means no smith and wesson or sig 1911s
  22. The leaf only has a range of about 120-150 miles best case scenario. I believe it is only 90 on the highway though. At this point electric powered vehicles are still impractical
  23. The double barrelled desert eagle from green hornet
  24. Might look at thureon defense
