  1. Looks like Sharps put in a bid too. Are we gonna start issuing Sharps carbines to the troops? Lol
  2. Its not leo only. When i bought my g19 gen4 last summer i got 3 mags with it.
  3. Amen brother! You hit the nail on the head on all accounts.
  4. Head shot could be a graze but a genuine brain shot would most definitely dropped him right there.
  5. Lucky as h*ll to survive 5 rounds of .38 to the face/neck
  6. If they keep it up there wont be a country left to elect a president for. Financially, when you are spending more than you are making/ bringing in, it will crash sooner or later. And we are far past the sooner stage.
  7. 00buck and/or slugs for defensive purposes. An adjustable stock would likely help you out on the stock length issue. They also make recoil reducing stocks in the same configuration. See Surefire for a weaponlight.
  8. Im thinking its for low cost practice but i may be wrong.
  9. I would buy almost anything listed in this thread except the Glock 1911. I love glocks and 1911s but im glad thats just a photoshop.
  10. I get the same problem when quoting on the mobile site. Have noticed several people that do.
  11. Its about time. I never likes the sr9 or 40 but for some reason like the sr45.
  12. One can only hope for a carbine... But realistically i bet its gonna be the Glock 1911 finally gets released.
  13. Out of those the armalite uses its own mags ( as you stated), the RRA uses FAL mags, and the bushmaster and dpms use magpul pattern mags. The 20" barrel will give more velocity but not much more accuracy at the cost of maneuverability. I would choose a DPMS with 16" barrel if it is available.
  14. Shouldnt be too hard to convert one of the alexander arms .17 cal ars to 22mag
  15. I cant find the pressure of the .22 tcm but i doubt its over the 50k of the 5.7. I wasnt aware the sparrow was rated for the 5.7 velocity/pressure. Should be ok
  16. I wouldnt try it. Too much pressure to risk on a class3/nfa item. I would think you would need either a 5.56 can or a 5.7 can if you could find one
  17. From what ive heard, the supply chain hasnt dried up. Deliveries are still being made but they are selling within 5 min of arriving in store, usually doesnt even hit the shelf. There certaintly isnt any extra stock sitting on the shelf though.
  18. Personally i would duplicate your EDC inside your bug out bag in case you had to bail out super fast.
  19. Hunting use. A .22 pistol is much easier to pack than a rifle especially since you probably wont need it and your already packing a rifle. You're more likely to see small game than a deer. No defensive scenario you couldnt realistically handle with a deer rifle and pistol and situational awareness.
  20. Some things you might consider adding depending on your situation Flashlight Multi tool (leatherman type) 2 way radio to communicate with destination Map/compass/gps Signal mirror/flare/whistle .22 pistol and ammo Pocket chainsaw Compact binoculars or a monocular
