  1. Id be in for one depending on time frame and logo
  2. Simply put if you dont want anyone else to know about it, dont put it in writing or on the internet
  3. For the record, im only 24 years old and think they were well within the rules to do what they did.
  4. There are at least one or two companies that make ars in the caliber
  5. im pretty sure ammo just needs to be taxed the first time not every time
  6. I had an older p229 w/out a rail. I tried a galco combat master ( i prefer OWB carry) for a p229 w/ rail and it fit perfect. I suspect all leather holsters would be the same. Kydex may be different but who would want one of those anyway lol
  7. Also check out a colt defender
  8. Personally id think a ruger super redhawk alaskan paired with a wild west guns custom marlin lever chambered in .50Alaskan. Doesnt get much more alaskan than that.
  9. Both S&W and Sig have external extractors, which i avoid.
  10. Its because 1911s have soul most other handguns dont.
  11. Im betting it was loaded with the hornady leverevolution ammo that is included.
  12. If its rural id start target shooting in the backyard with the loudest gun i had whenever they showed up
  13. Times change. Also with a HCP you can have a loaded long gun in your vehicle just not chambered. Still illegal to carry one on your person.

    22lr price

Yet it is still sold at retail for $20 a brick. Sometimes i get really annoyed by greedy people.
  15. Ive heard an 18" is optimum for a .308 battle rifle. Good maneuverability but still good velocity. 16" has too much muzzle blast and unburnt powder and 20" doesnt gain enough velocity over a 18" to be worth the extra 2" and lost maneuverability.
  16. This was probably 6months ago at least very prior to sandy hook etc
  17. Joe sold it and after going there once after that I wont be back. Customer service sucks, all around poor attitude by all employees there and prices arent low enough for me to put up with that.
  18. Reasoning is 1 primary, second in weakside pocket and one inside of weakside ankle in case i need to draw while sitting or get knocked on ground. Drawing from a belt holster or pocket while sitting is problematic at best.
  19. I carry 2 guns 95% of the time have considered adding a third, but recent market conditions have made certain guns hard to find.
  20. Currently a 99 suburban 4x4. Plan on finding a crew cab truck though, just works better for my purpose.
  21. Sequel to union creek journal is supposed to be released anytime now. I cant wait.
  22. Different headstamps, yes. Tax stamp, yes. Ziploc bag, no.
